((Err, life update? I guess? A bit of a long post, hope you read it tho! It's kinda important but I remembered I can add a read-more. The TL:DR is that I will be back soon and plan on reworking and retconning a few things too soon, so feel free to ask a few questions before then. There is nothing to post yet, mainly just a life update right now. ))

(( So... I dunno who is here still, but I am here to say some things! It's been years since I got to pilot this blog because life realistically kept getting in my way. It's all a bit private for the most part, but the main thing is I would like to come back to this blog soon. I CAN, however, talk about it a little though! )) (( I would say I absolutely have gotten my life sorted out a whole lot more since y'all last saw me. I've done a lot for myself to not be feeling so bad, and been taking it as easily as possible until I've felt better. It's been helping, but I am sad I haven't spoken here or interacted in a while here in such a long time. I'm thankful to those of you that have stuck around, and even sent some asks my way in the meantime. It means a lot! I'm sorry I didn't answer in so long, though. I seriously mean it when I say it means a lot to me, like, you've no idea since I don't know how to convey that idea adequately. Thanks! ))

(( And I think that my own relationship with this blog, even though you all haven't gotten to see it, has improved and changed and in retrospect has given me a lot to think about, as I have gone from a teenager running this blog and kind of putting a bit of vent art into the lore, now to an adult that may do that a bit less venting into my art in order to make more interesting and be more of... well, the AU itself, I guess? More character development???? More... more... I dunno, designs and ideas? ))

(( Another thing was... I was afraid of misrepresenting some things regarding disassociative disorders. It had been something in the back of my mind for a while, so as I became more aware of that as a concept as a teen I worried that, well, I was bastardizing it in some way. So at some point, I decided to research them to check a few things, and uh... Turns out I HAVE one. To be honest, I don't really know how to say this well, but this blog, I realized, gave me a way to explore it in a relatively safe and fun manner when I was running it. I was actually way more accepting and understanding of my alters than I would've been without this blog, actually. Turns out how Stand Infection worked ended up working kind of mirrored my own experiences, so... I appreciate it! ))

(( Of course, there is the whole thing of Stand Infection having wayyyy more fantasy elements than real life, and everyone has a different relationship with being a system, so I truly hope that I don't ever end up bastardizing anything anyone experiences regarding being a system, and I hope you all, as my audience, treat systems in your life with as much respect as I try to too! I may rework some of the stuff here now that I have more information about being a system as well! And I really appreciate getting the chance to even explore these concepts in the first place. So I do hope my own earnestness shines through later down the line. ))

(( I do REALLY REALLY want to continue telling stories that mean a lot more to me now than they did before, now that I am at least aware of more of myself. I'm excited to rewatch JoJo soon (hopefully!), rework a few ideas that I think I could convey so much better now and even tell a few stories that mirror my own experiences a bit more clearly. I do hope that once I am able to do so, you all join me for that part. ))

(( Also, if you're curious about my system, just know there are about 3 of us? I feel that some of you may not know too much about how it works to be a system or are just curious about my own personal experiences, so, I don't mind some questions about what I myself know or experienced. It's up to the others, though, how much they wanna put themselves into the blog other than just brainstorming things with me. Like I dunno if they are gonna make their own little mod-sonas or whatever like I did yet. Up to them though. ))

(( So for now? I will slowly work on preparing to set up the blog again. I will work on a post of things I am reworking and/or retconning for when I'm ready to start this all back up, and if there are any questions you have right now that I can try to answer about it all, feel free to drop them in my inbox here. If possible, if anyone sees this, I'd at least like a few things to consider as I'm trying to pick this back up, and before I start answering asks that I've had floating around in here. ))

Hi, I came across your blog here and I was trying to look through it to get a understand of what it's about but with all the events and crossovers with other blog I can't tell what is and isn't apart of the main infection au.

Other user maybe having trouble understanding too or it could just be me only. 😅

Is it possible that you could help explain what parts are about like just the main infection au.? It's okay if your not able too.

Also I would just like to say the whole infection thing is so so cool of an idea but again I'm so unsure what is and isn't canon to it. Cuz I went all the way back to the start of the blog, but I became very unsure when the role swap event stuff started and then the crossovers and the the gem stuff and...

Oh I'm sorry, I'm just super confused is all and I feel bad writing this cuz I don't want to up set you Mun. Hopefully you can help straighten things out.

Again I really love the au and the blog in general, but man is it hard to fool. 😅😅

(( Unfortunately, the blog IS pretty confusing, I've been meaning to try to retcon some stuff since it's gotten more defined in my mind and I'm hoping to come back to it soon, and hell, I've changed a lot as a person in the time I've been gone! ))

(( Even though you already said you figured it out a bit more, it wouldn't hurt to explain it to the people who don't know yet - basically if it has an -event ending on the tag, isn't cannon to the original AU unless it's just the stand infection event tag. I realize now that the blog's theme doesn't lend itself well to that, and I'm hoping I can track down a better theme to make the tags more visible. The roleswap stuff is its own thing that I wanna mess with, since I have a story I wanna tell with that still, I just haven't gotten around to it yet, though. ))

(( Since the blog had a tendency to get sorta angsty and sad, someone asked I tag stuff like that with something, and that's how the story time tag warning came to be, just so heavier topics had a little bit of an umbrella for blacklisting to those who found it uncomfortable, if it wasn't just something outright body-horror-y, since I'd try to tag that, but I wasn't super aware of what wasn't or was uh... warnable. I was younger and less experienced, I really didn't know if anything crossed any lines or not well enough to gauge it. ))

(( Of course, there's also JUST the stand infection tag, everything being tagged with that so people could blacklist it too since the AU was sorta known for that kinda stuff. ))

(( But still, I really want to come back to this! Sorry I've been gone so long, my life has been kinda bad for a while, but things have been slowly getting better! It was so much fun running this blog, and I miss drawing every day for this! Hopefully I can get my life together just a smidgen more and commit to this again! ))

Changed my username from lillygeneva to jona-rose on both tumblr and deviantart. I will update more about the commissions later, for now I am setting up my stuff again.

(( I have a lot of things i need to do, school finally started, and I need to get it sorted out so I can work on my commissions properly, and stop procrastinating. I’m sorry for disappearing for the event, I was really excited about doing it too!! But yeah, better just take care of my own stuff for now. The world doesn’t stop for anyone, and hopefully you all are going smoothly through yours! ))

(( okay so i don’t think i’ll be back for a few more days, these meds are like. for my ADHD/Depression but because i’m getting used to them  i’m all... dizzy and... don’t feel like i’m in my body...?? and i can’t focus on my computer screen for some reason unless i keep looking away and looking back and that’s annoying for drawing... for some reason cause my brain is being weird right now, so I can’t draw like I desperately want to. ))

(( speaking of my brain being weird i feel all tingly because of it? it’s weird, i didn’t think it’d affect anything but my head tbh i don’t really like that but hopefully it’ll go away ))

(( i’m sad about it cause I really really really wanted to participate in the event! it’s fun to do interactions! but i don’t feel very good so i’m gonna be missing in action for a bit, until my head clears up a little bit more, at least. ))

(( i know nobody likes excessive mod posts when said mod is supposed to be getting stuff done but I had an appointment that I wasn’t exactly prepared for and ended up hanging out with one of my friends all day and had a lot of fun and i’m super sleepy, and I still will apologize again for not doing stuff... It still is because of me doing my own thing. ))

(( also i’m on some new meds so that’s a thing... they’re making me sleepy so sadly I admit I really am not getting things done today but I’m trying to get my stuff together!!! i’m also gonna be going to skills training soon so I can learn life skills as well, I don’t know exactly when but it’ll be cool, cause maybe i could learn how to make... a schedule... ))

(( so ok my paint tool sai won’t let me save because the free trial is over and i have a very finicky computer set up cause i have an external drive [with a damaged plug] and a laptop on a chair that doesn’t like me, i didn’t wanna risk it, cause it’ll probably unplug at some point, and like. I spaced out and drew for a bit when my dog was asleep for fun because I forgot I existed and had a blog [i’m sorry, it was my fault, i got distracted and did that on my own accord, i own up to that] so that wasn’t a problem but a 1 hour window of nothing happening isn’t good odds for replying, and I can’t find the installer to MAYBE REINSTALL IT... SO i’m going back to Gimp. At least I can save in case something goes wrong cause it does take like. longer than I want it to take. ))

(( also i feel i owe an apology for the hell paragraph I just wrote, I didn’t know how to break it up because of all the run-on sentences, i should work on that... )) (( tldr: hhhh art program broke so i gotta go back to my other one because i misplaced the installer for it and i draw slow. 3x apologies for my actions because i feel i should apologize cause i haven’t been doing what I need to do/should be doing. ))

(( Apologies for disappearing again, I’ve been kinda frantic and just psyching myself up to clean up the house some and get stuff done, so apologies if I don’t reply tonight, but I wanted to let y’all know that I am still here! ))

((also i remembered i have paint tool SAI and it has a much softer line stroke normally than gimp with regular brush strokes so I’m gonna try to reply with that software after I get my stuff together, it’s fun experimenting with the style and drawing more regularly! I missed this! :o! ))
