Hi there friend’s. So here’s a little workout I’d like you to try. Tell me what you think? I broke it down into sections. -warm-up and Mobility. Chair squads and Step Jacks 10-20. -cardio, different types different ways of doing it. (what do you normally do) - mobility/ call down, for after the run. forward Band/ Roll down. Sideband and a twist. -foam roll, Piriformis/ Glutes, Hamstring, Cavs, IT band, quad, upper back rib cage. -plank, push-ups, up down’s or hands and elbows. (You pick) -chair or bodyweight squats. -shoulder dislocater, with broom. tell me what you think once you’ve done it? Remember to listen to your body. Meet your body where it’s at. Use your intelligence my friend. If you don’t know seek more info from reputable sources. Like the @cdcgov and your trusted news source. @kqed @npr are mine. Cover your mouth with your elbow or shirt when you cough. Wash your hands frequently. Don’t put dirty hands by your face. Get 7-9 Hr’s of sleep a night. Or improve the quality of your sleep. Drink more water, all day. eat your veggies every meal. Stay happy and manage your stress. Remember to breathe. The risk is still low. What’s for dinner? Here is a meal prep hack I learned from my mom. When you find produce on sale. Buy a bunch of it and chop and prep and freeze as it is or cook it and freeze it in a bag flat. Put a label and date on the bag. Break off and add to food as you need it. Always working on getting stronger. Mr. M is 92 years old. This is a standing, lateral lag raise with a yellow (easy band) To start do this exercise with out a band. 1 set of 5 or 1 set of 10. My goal here is to keep him getting stronger. And to help reduce his fall risk. To also control/ reduce his sore back pain. Food prep. How to make your uncooked vegetables last longer in the fridge. First clean and dry your vegetables. But this works if you don’t have time to wash your vegetables too. put a paper towel or two inside the top of the bag over the vegetable to absorb the moisture in the bag. This won’t stop your vegetables from rotting just make them last a little bit longer in the fridge. . .
