Okay wanna talk about LPS popular (remake) cause it's on my brain--

I just wanna say I love the color choices for their dresses in the first season.

I didn't grow up on the original, never watched it but I do like the angel and devil theme for Brooke and savvys dresses, it's cool! but the remake has very yummy color choices that tell us a lot about where they are at that point in the story.

Intentional or not, the dresses say a lot, least what I got from it lol--

The raging red of Savannahs dress, symbolizing her anger and distaste for Brooke, a devil in the works-- the rose being a lil hint of her love that will bloom, but a mockery spitting in their faces, a symbol of "love" in the hair of someone filled with burning hatred wanting revenge.

And Brookes black dress, almost reminiscent of a funeral gown to mourn-- as if she's mourning the loss of not just her popularity, but any chance of a friendship with her little crush savvy-- she hurt her, she was gonna hurt her, because she's angry with herself, but now that her angers run dry, sav drinking from the puddle of her rivals tears, fueling her anger instead and leaving brooke drained, her heart shrouded over in blackness--
