yOU GUYS I had a dream last night and it was brio?? And they weren’t doing anything sexual or nothing. But it was the hottest thing I have ever dreamed ??? They were full on up in each other’s business. Beth was the one calling the shots, telling Rio what she needed from him. And he was just being submissive as she girl bossed him. It was like foreplay for them and now I’m mad it was a dream and mad it got cancelled all over again !!

How do you think Rio reacted to Beth getting shot? And by Mick? Do you think Rio spoke to Beth after she was shot? Do you think any kind of confrontation happened with Rio and Mick? I know it’s such little things, but I can’t stop wondering. 😂

Oooh, god, SO many meaty questions in this one.

I think that I would headcanon that Mick told Rio shortly after the event occurred, and that in the same fell swoop, he confirmed that it wasn't a kill shot and that it was ordered by Nick. In that sense, I think that Rio would be feeling a complicated mess of emotions, but that they'd quickly transfer to anger towards Nick more than anything else. I don't think he'd be particularly worried about Beth having the information that he does from Mick, but I think he'd be worried that she would think he sent Mick, and that what he had been trying to build with her would be effectively blown up. Still, I think he would've tried (and probably failed, lol) to compartmentalize that while figuring out how to deal with Mick (he had a choice to make there, after all).

I do think Mick and Rio have a long history together, though, and Mick is obviously trusted by Rio as he is really the only person Rio gave access to Beth (and the introduction of Nick and how Rio felt about his access to her really emphasizes the significance of that) so I think that history fed Rio's ability to hear Mick out. I don't necessarily think it turned into a confrontation, but I do think Rio would've questioned Mick and walked a line between expressing his anger and still try to minimize how affected he was by the whole thing (and I think Mick allowed him that privacy over his big, fat, embarrassing feelings for [Beth).

I don't, however, think that Rio and Beth had a conversation after she was shot. I think that it would've been pretty important to show if it had occurred? I think the first time he saw her was at the bench, which I think adds to Beth's decision to move right past it and joke-not-joke about being his boss. I think both of them felt they had an understanding about what had happened and that they didn't need to talk about it explicitly so much as they wanted to press forward, and I think that was probably a relief to them both.
