The A/SF-01 B-wing heavy assault starfighter was a formidable ship used by the Rebel Alliance after the Battle of Yavin, when a replacement for the aging Y-wing was needed. Tremendously difficult to control, the craft rotated around the central cockpit. B-wings were equipped with multiple laser and ion cannons as well as proton torpedo launchers, creating a ship that was incredibly capable in combat, some squadrons taking down Star Destroyers on their own.
