some tweets re: chucklefish for those of you who have been out of the loop like i have. many, many artists were exploited and never paid a single cent for their work on starbound.

while stardew is 100% a creation by concernedape and he split with chucklefish last year (which was the game’s former publisher), i think it’s important to know since CF is currently in charge of the switch and mobile ports (though sickhead and secret police are the actual porting teams behind it).

and some stardew specific info from twitter user @magiclueless: “For a case like Stardew Valley's, if you don't want money to go to Chucklefish, buy the PC/PS4/XB1/Vita versions or directly support ConcernedApe by buying his music on Bandcamp.”

edit: i’m not familiar with chucklefish’s other games, but i would encourage others to look into the actual developers and teams behind their games, since CF is sometimes just a publisher. look into how to directly support the devs and artists, whether it be buying their stuff off of bandcamp or boosting their voices and work on various platforms!

So it looks like my game skipped an ENTIRE YEAR on its own because I have mail from all of the other seasons (quests, festivals, etc) of shit I haven’t ACTUALLY DONE YET but yeah that’s awesome

So my save file like fucked itself up? So far everything seems to function normally but it changed the seasons? Like the last time I loaded it was like the first week of Winter, and now it’s on the 3rd day of Fall??? But I can see where I did stuff the last time that it “saved” (I had signs with the winter seeds packet on it that would’ve only been there had it been winter). I have no clue what to do or if it messed anything else up but has this happened to other people?

I will say I just updated my Smapi but I did that prior to the last time I loaded the game, and everything was perfectly normal
