i wish more women knew beauty is an energy. it’s not about fitting the beauty standard so much as it is that tender care for your body and effort put into your outward appearance (hygiene, grooming, personal style and having fun with it) creates a magnetic energy. it tells people to regard you as important because you prioritise time and energy spent solely on yourself. it doesn’t even have to be about appearance at all if it’s not of interest - notice the same energy in people who are very skilled at something, who took the time to be great, who invested into themselves through passion and self-respect. sometimes fitting the beauty standard does help our goals, but you’d be surprised how little it can matter once you focus your energy on how you present yourself regardless of the standards. move from a place of pleasure and passion and watch it all come together.

stop ignoring yourself. fix your posture, get a new hair cut, do your nails, take care of your skin, brush your teeth, drink water, eat foods that give you energy. get strong, stop looking sloppy. when you feel good, you do good. invest in yourself.

My blood pressure rises every time I remember that Xaden told Catriona about his deal with Violet's mother but never told Violet about it and even waited for Violet to be the one who asked him about it, when he knew that that deal was eating Violet alive from the inside.

Jake and Neytiri: *chilling on their date while Neteyam is babysitting the kids*
Neteyam: *looking for them for help* "Mom? Dad?"
Jake: *pulling Neytiri into hiding* "Ignore him. That could be anyone."

I love Nesta, but it drives me absolutely bonkers how some people think ACOSF was SJM telling us the IC is toxic and Nesta was always right.
Like…did y’all READ the book?
SJM makes it so incredibly clear that the things Nesta said/did were wrong. That the IC tried to help (even though they didn’t know what was wrong, since Nesta never told them and the IC are not mind readers Jesus) but that the training was the LAST resort. Nesta changed by the end of ACOSF. She grew, healed, and saw where she had messed up. If she had “always been right and the IC are just toxic”, she wouldn’t have changed. She’d have stayed the same. But by the end she wasn’t.
ACOSF is both a healing and redemption story.
Unlike so many of Nesta’s stans, SJM acknowledges Nesta’s trauma response, but she doesn’t excuse them when it comes to her behavior. That is never more abundantly clear then when Amren calls Nesta out, in my opinion.
People will talk all day about “unreliable narrator” when it comes to Feyre, but not about Nesta when she was at her LOWEST? Somehow, how she viewed the IC at the beginning of ACOSF is just pure facts?
Y’all missed the whole point and it kills me.

“And now I want you to know, Rhysand, that I love you. I want you to know … ” His lips trembled, and I brushed away the tear that escaped down his cheek. “I want you to know,” I whispered, “that I am broken and healing, but every piece of my heart belongs to you. And I am honored—honored to be your mate.”
Thank you to all 10k of you who have joined me on this journey, I thought it no better celebration than to post this phenomenal Feysand art by the greatest @lulybot 🤍🤍🤍
It was near impossible to pick my favourite Feysand quote, what would yours be?

"I can't believe Feyre didn't know the answer to the riddle,if it was Aelin she would've finished the trials within a week"
Has it ever occurred to you that maybe feyre was never loved enough to know the answer ??? Like she never knew what it was to be loved until Rhys and the ic. She wasn't blessed with emotionaly available family , hence, why she didn't know the answer .
Annnnnd comparing a highly trained fae assassin to a human is one of the dumbest things I've heard 🙄. Its 2 verrrrry different stories. Feyre was never given full information about the fae world let alone how vile amarantha is . She was blinded with saving tampon . She was quite literally 19 YEARS OLD!!!!
Put some respect on her name.
I swear Feyre would breath and people would find something wrong with that too. Like leave that women alone.
