Geralt is the point of view through which we see Ciri's story most of the time, because his understanding of the world and his love for Ciri as an adopted daughter shape how we approach and view her story. His view is paramount to understanding what is happening to her and why she makes the decisions that she does. Because Ciri is the main character. Geralt is just the perspective.

As a Jewish historian, I fucking hate Israel in ways most probably will never be able to comprehend. I'm going to try and explain it anyways. The central creation myth of Israel is that it is Jewish, and then consequently, that Israel is a part of Jewishness. Its easy to simply state this is false, but fully comprehending this and putting it into practice in thought and deed seems rare to me.

The evil at the heart of this violence predates the recent acceleration of genocide. Israel is a colony, and more than that, an antisemitic fraud itself. After WW2, when Israel was being founded, the Jews of Europe generally did not wave goodbye to their neighbors and head to the promised land. Many were expelled from their homes. Zionism itself, as an action, was a false choice at the time. A mere excuse to place an ally in the middle east, and an excuse to complete the expulsion and destruction of the European Jew. The Zionist Jew is more than complicit in this, they actively seek the destruction and assimilation of all other Jews.

Many fail to realize, and largely because of Israel, that Jews are not inherently white, Ashkenazi, European-descended people. Our faith and culture has an immense variety that is spread all across the globe. Jewishness, in population and volume of culture, exists more so outside of Israel than within it. Israel is for a very specific kind of Jew. The kind that lets Yiddish die, that attaches themselves to European things, that makes themselves and their practices as white as possible.

And they have the nerve, the fucking belligerent GALL, to frame themselves as the necessary saviors of our people. To the Zionist, questioning Israel is to question Jewishness itself. They bake adoration for the colonial machine into their very prayers, and push them on us even as children. To *not* oppress, to *not* kill, to *not* genocide, is to invite death. This is the core of fascistic thought, of course. "Kill them before they kill us." And they KNOW this too, they really do. The truth of that irony does not matter, because as is true for all fascists, the truth itself does not matter to them. They wanted this, they wanted this even before the British saw it in their best interest to give them the land. Any excuse to RETVRN, as the neo-nazis say of Rome, or the German Empire, or whatever the fuck stupid country they want to poorly animate the corpse of. No because there’s SO much angst potential. Wei Wuxian forever knowing that he’s an imposter in this body. That he’ll never again have his parents’ features - the last thing he had of them. He and Lan Wangji learning his curves and divots together because he’s wholly unfamiliar with this shape. That Wei Wuxian never know how his body would have looked with age. How every time he receives a compliment about his looks or sees himself in the mirror, he’s reminded of the sacrifice Mo Xuanyu made which brought him back.

I haaate the notion that mo xuanyu’s body gradually starts to look more like wei wuxian you people are so lame. bring the REAL whumpers to the front. personally for me knowing that lan zhan will never see wei wuxian’s face again fills my heart with glee.

Yona is more at an angle - I think to signify how far she’s been pushed to get to this point. Soowon, while not so tilted since opposing the gods aligns with his original goals, is still askew since his perception of how to achieve those goals has changed since their formation.

The framing for both is from below, showing the power in their strikes. Soowon is shown at a more intense upward angle - this is something he’s been working towards for a long time with much effort, plus he’s in a position of power as the acting king of Kouka. Yona is shown more head on, representing the straightforward way she faces her goals, unrelentingly striving for them.

The angle mirrors the path of a reader’s eye, displaying these strikes as acts towards a better future. Soowon’s being less acute could mean that he is fighting for the concept of a future, while Yona is aiming for something she can see realized.

MDZS AU where Wei Ying is taken in by the Wen Sect and raised as a servant cultivator, a soldier. He saves Wen Ning from bullying in their childhood and becomes friends with the Dafan Wens. He grows to be one of their best weapons, but sees through Wen Ruohan’s oppressive goals

Wen Ning and Wei Ying are sent to Cloud Recesses (Wen Ning to learn, Wei Ying for infiltration) where Wei Ying makes fast friends with Jiang Cheng and Nie Huaisang, but Lan Zhan proves difficult. Lan Zhan is intrigued by the boy with harsh eyes and brilliant smile but doesn’t give himself away too easily, becoming a challenge for Wei Ying, one that the young cultivator can’t seem to shake his mind of. Wei Ying knows he should stop pushing Lan Zhan but finds himself enjoying the reactions Lan Zhan gives

Later, Wei Ying is sent to aid in the destruction of Cloud Recesses. This is the first time he realizes just how disastrous Wen Ruohan’s rule is and vows to try to stop it. He secretly saves Lan Zhan and helps Lan Xichen to a safe hiding place. Lan Zhan is infinitely more drawn to Wei Ying.

Eventually Wei Ying deals the killing blow to Wen Ruohan, usurping the Wen throne with the help of Wen Ning, Wen Qing, Jiang Cheng, Lan Xichen, Nie Mingjue, and Lan Zhan. Those involved in the attempted colonization are apprehended, while others (like the Dafan Wens) are taken in by the major sects (to provide safety and keep an eye on them)

Wei Ying and the Dafan Wens settled near Cloud Recesses; Wen Qing providing her medical services for the sect, Wei Ying and Wen Ning aiding as cultivators. Lan Zhan, who saw Wei Ying putting his very life at risk to protect others and stop Wen Ruohan, cannot deny his feelings any longer

One night, as Wei Ying smuggled emperor’s smile into Cloud Recesses, Lan Zhan catches him on a rooftop. Wei Ying gives Lan Zhan the brightest smile Lan Zhan had ever seen on the other and he can’t stop himself from rushing forward and kissing Wei Ying passionately. Wei Ying whispers “Am I allowed this?” to which Lan Zhan replies “My Wei Ying”
