The 24H of Nürburgring start today with 2 Qualifying sessions coming up. They're streamed both live in English and German. Below the English streams.

In these two sessions all SP9 cars that are not yet on the list below will be fighting for the 5 remaining spots in Top Qualifying. The already claimed spots were claimed through the two Qualifying races earlier this year.

All cars that do not make it through or any other class cars will have their qualifying time set as highest between all Qualifying sessions

oh my god marta when yifei joined ferrari it felt like my personal 9/11. im not sure when yifei started being managed by mukesh jani (neel's dad) but i believe he has been with them since his renault junior days at least. which is a long time ago going by the fact they were still called renault. either way yifei seemed to pretty much become adopted by the janis. ik seeing yifei win lemans must have meant so much to them all after being with him through the lows of f3 and getting dropped by renault...when he became porsche affiliated i was so happy i am still manifesting the day neel and him can share a car. they also love to go hiking together idk what it is about the mountains that call to them so much.

the full story that first photo is from reads "from babysitter to...ferrari factory driver 💪👏🎉 #proud" and it still makes me so emotional. argh.

i literally had no idea about the yifei / neel subplot idk how it escaped me until now!! so they have known each other for like 10 years or something ……. being raised by neel jani has to be a very enriching experience for any racing driver i must say but not even he could save his protégé from ferrari’s greedy clutches </3 i’m happy the janis can witness his (very deserved) success though. we shall crowdfund a neel + yifei entry SOMEWHERE.

see like obviously i know p2 at le mans isn’t something that is going be remembered in the long run but i hope this near flawless performance from porsche 6 will be appreciated for what it was in the future, especially Kév’s drive from p21 to p1. if nothing else. the overtake compilation will have 1M views on youtube. it’ll be a porsche cult classic.
