He's a mirror image of his father who is also the villain that he spends his life hunting. He was manipulated into being an accomplice to said serial killer father. He is dead and rotting and still alive. He is empty inside both literally and figuratively. He's a pretty good artist. He has a dry sense of humor. He's plagued by nightmares. He's an arsonist. He likes soap operas. He spends his life trying to fix the pain his father caused and doesn't even get the satisfaction of being the one to finally end it.

So I was scrolling qnd I came across this TikTok and it got me thinking about the gods in God games and how they could've given their favor to Odysseus besides their parts in the song because like

We know that Ody is an amazing archer, we see this when the crew kills Polyphemus' sheep, when he shoots the siren, Penelope's challenge and in the whole Odysseus song right? Well think about it, who is the God of archery? That's right, it's Apollo, he would love such a skilled archer

And also, we know that he can build amazing stuff, like his whole palace and more importantly the wedding bed he built for him and Penelope and also a raft strong enough so survive things like Charybdis, so it's not crazy to think that Hephaestus might be on his side after all.

Now, for Aphrodite I have a little bit of a problem with the reason of her dislike for him in the beginning, but honestly she IS the goddess of love and I think that the things this man went through just so he could be with his beloved wife and son could have won her over, not to she is no stranger to bloodshed, specially if it's done for love

Since there is already a running theory about Ares I'll be short bout this, he's the God of war and bloodshed and not a big fan of Poseidon, so obvs he'd be on ody's side yk

With Hera it's also kinda obvious, he is a devoted husband and his whole journey has the goal of returning to his wife and kid, not to mention that (at least in the musical) he has never cheated on Penelope, thing that the goddess of marriage and family would really appreciate as seen in the song.

As to what those favor might be? Idk, but the autism kicked in and I has to talk about it so
