What I absolutely loved about the scene in Wakanda is that Bucky was ugly crying. Bucky is a strong, buff man and they let him have a long moment on screen while the camera focused on his face only. They didn't try to frame it as something attractive or to romanticize it in any way, and they didn't play it for laughs: they showed a man who's broken, who's gone through unimaginable things and they made him cry. It wasn't only a sad gaze and a single tear running down his face, he was sobbing badly, and after Thor having a panick attack only for comedic purposes this feels so refreshing. Let men cry, fuck toxic masculinity
