Mage Inspired Clutter Dump

I made this CC as part of my second Modern Mages inspired posts, and decided to share them. This includes 12 items: a bunch of decor, lights, surfaces, and one incense thing. And as a bonus I threw in two seamless patterns, of eyes, and Nordic rune seals of protection.

Boroughsburg is an up-and-coming neighborhood in New York City that straddles the delicate line between working-class industrial grittiness and rarefied hipsterdom. Enjoy spectacular views of Manhattan from the waterfront, while live music, outdoor markets and art shows brighten atmospheric cobblestone streets and factories being transformed into trendy lofts and offices.

Not your stuff? You could always go for gyros, pierogies or matzo ball soup at the local diners, visit cultural centers, meet up with old timers and dance the night away.

So I was never quite satisfied with the Maxis city worlds in the sims series, and wanted something that felt like somewhere. Boroughsburg is a mashup of New York City’s DUMBO, Williamsburg, Greenpoint, Long Island City, and Astoria- but is open enough that you can build whatever bit of New York you want in it. But more importantly, it’s the cumulation of around almost two years of work- and I hope you’ll enjoy it!

Why didn’t I choose a more ‘New-Yorky’ location? It’s because these parts of town are probably the more ‘neighbourhood-like’, meaning that you get a nice combination of quiet areas and busier ones that feel the most realistic in TS3- otherwise you run into the ‘empty-world syndrome’ that plagues many Sims 3 city worlds. On top of that, I find the inner boroughs more fascinating in their endless subtle adaptations for daily survival in the metropolis, more so than the played-up theatrics you often find on your typical New York itinerary :)

Compact medium city world, 69 lots + 2 lots for divers

Mostly empty world with deco shells- only core lots are finished.

Should run smoothly on mid-high-tier computers.

Includes recolors & remeshes of the hot air balloon, train, police car, fire pickup, taxis, flags, moon, clouds and weather made specifically for a New York environment- if you want to see those in action, you will need to remove other replacement mods first.

Base game + LN spawners included.

Island Paradise compatible- docks and dive lots are provided.

A separate download includes an inspiration folder with some examples of buildings in each district, in case you were wondering what each district was inspired by (and what to build!). Also included is a map with world districts, appropriate addresses and lot sizes, along with sound emitter locations, sounds & offsets, if you want to replace those lots.

Installation instructions are included in the download folder. Please follow them carefully.

CC Notes

All custom-made CC is included in several packages. You must install them or else all you’ll get is an empty world!

Over two hundred new items made for this world, optimized for file size and game performance (with LODs). Some of them have been activated in the game catalogue since they’re also useful in many other situations. All in-game catalogue items have proper names and descriptions!

Further CC notes are located in the readme- note that two other mods are required (Buzzler’s Shell Emitter & Jynx’s Rabbitholes).

Expansions & Store Content

I tried to keep this pack to a minimum for expansions.

Late Night is required!

World Adventures is suggested- without it, you’ll miss out on the sounds that come with the subway train.

Content from Ambitions, University Life and Island Paradise is used, but the corresponding content packages have been included if you don’t have the expansions.

Content from Riverview and the ticket machine + turnstiles from the Ticket to Entry set are included as a package. Feel free to remove if you have the decrappified packages. The ticket machine is bugged and so you will need this Store Fix package.

If there’s a .DS_Store package in the file, just delete it! It’s added to a file when a mac (instead of a PC) creates a zip file and is not necessary for the brows to work.

Hey guys! so i did this conversion of stealthic haunting. they are not perfect. Some transparency issues in the back also some clipping on the side. i try to fix them but it’s not working. i’ve tried 1000000x time redoing it ,still not fixed XD. but they look good anyway. they look a little bit weird in CAS (idk why) but they look perfectly fine in game <3 i hope u like it :D i work really hard on this! like since this hair comeout XD so yeah.

THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW :

No morph so if your sim fat they clip (little bit)

Cootie Catcher: 4 Pigtail Conversions by InkWisteria

Happy March! Here’s some hair conversions. :)

I found myself wishing that the Raon pigtails were for kids and thought hey! Why not make them myself? TSRW made it very clear why not, but here we are anyway. I decided to make it a quartet!

Full disclosure: I made these for myself, so they’re not perfect. Heck, they’re not even good! But! I figured that someone besides me might be able to use these. There’s no low LOD mesh, but hey.

Greetings my lovely followers. <3 I’m releasing these way later than intended, but in honor of pride month I’ve made you guys a tee with 58 different inclusive designs so your simmies can let their pride flags fly. I tried hitting as many areas of the lgbt+ community that I could think of. Forgive me if you don’t find representation within this batch. I plan on making more, though, so feel free to message me with suggestions or a design you’d like to see slapped on these. A lot of them ended up looking kinda meh in game, but boooooooy tsrw did not like me adding so many different presets to one mesh so I’m uploading them anyways. About half way through it started crashing after every new overlay was added so that was fun. Anywho, they’re a single file - I *might* eventually make them individual files that you can pick and choose from, but for now you’re stuck with all 58. Sorry if that’s inconvenient. >< Another thing you should be aware of is that the default colors assigned to the shirts are not ideal for every design. A few of them I accidentally have “Pattern B” enabled, so there are two cast color options available while only one will actually affect the appearance of the shirt. You can tell which ones have this issue because instead of just having the pattern “solidcolor” from the misc category applied, it has some sort of design. It’s easily fixed by changing the fabric to the solidcolor. They’re recolorable so play around with colors for each design because as you can see above, different colors look better with different designs. A medium grey works well with most of the designs, though. Whelp, I think that’s about everything. If you encounter any issues/have any questions or suggestions please feel free to message me.
