Alex was in charge of the grill, which gave everyone chance to catch up - not having seen each other since the wedding. Uriah came along too, though he ended up being a bit of a 5th wheel - especially with all the baby talk

Kim & Alex invited Stevie & Miles round for some food - and by happy coincidence, they both found out they were expecting not too far apart

making a start on the nursery - do I have to put clutter everywhere? probably not, but it makes me happy

some sort of vague space theme going on, but I mostly threw a bunch of different things at it and called it a day

Gordon is making the most of the peace before a screaming baby takes over the house

it made sense for Stevie to move into Miles' house - they'd both lived in Henford-on-Bagley together before, and Stevie's bedroom at her Mum's house wasn't exactly the best place to bring up a baby in

of course the first person they have to tell is stevie's mum, Rosie, who is unsurprisingly thrilled at the news of her first grandchild

okay but isn't the ultrasound option the sweetest thing ever

not being people to follow typical convention, miles & stevie go out on their first official date - after finding out stevie is pregnant

though it's not exactly ideal and despite the initial shock, miles & stevie slowly come around to the idea of having a baby - even if it's a little sooner than they would've liked

(I thought Stevie was on birth control so this was super suprising hahah)

and, of course, it's not food poisoning

considering she's still living at her mum's house, I really hope that's food poisoning

Stevie was promoted to medical technician - which, from what I can see, means she's left to her own devices to (try) to cure patients

Miles invites Stevie round to see his new house, and they fall into domestic life pretty easily

The best thing about being back in Henford-on-Bagley are all of the walks available right from the doorstep - Gordon is pretty happy despite whatever face this is
