10) worst part of fanon?

The over-focus on Joshua within the fanbase and thus the sidelining of Literally Everyone Else with Neku sometimes being the sole exception. Saw this one post in the main tag a few months ago and all I have to say is, huh???????

We don't know much about Neku's time in Shinjuku but do we know who WAS there with him for a long enough time that they seem to be on good terms now? COCO ATARASHI. MY BEAUTIFUL PRINCESS WITH A DISORDER. How come that she was neglected to be mentioned in this topic of Shinjuku when she's very very relevant to it? I wonder why! I sure do! Also, "dated in their own way"? Joshua didn't do shit for basically that entire time! If they did date, then what kind of shitty long distance relationship is that?!

So yeah while I can't say I've ever liked Jotchua that much it's also true that the fan culture surrounding him has never done much effort into endearing me to his antics. AND he's a blond man. deplorable. I like that he's voiced by Ryōhei Kimura though even if no one myself included played Japanese dub twewy ever

9) worst part of canon?

Easy answer would be the fanservicey moments in both writing and artworks (that not even Yoshihara himself seems to be completely into based on some comments he's made before) and while yeah that definitely sucks my answer would be French Bread's real lack of commitment to anything characterization or storyline wise, and when something does get closure like in Gordeau and Merkava's UNI2 Arcade Story endings, it feels unearned and rushed. Part of it is due to budgeting reasons with Chronicle Mode already being really hard to make but I really wish they did more, y'know?

12) the unpopular character that you actually like and why more people should like them

With Utena having a relatively small recurring cast, it's a little hard to say? But if "unpopular" here can also mean "disliked", I'm going with Kozue. While yes a lot of her actions are regrettable she feels like it's the only way she can get things done with how Ohtori's machinations work. And she's 13 so I feel like she has a lot of time to free herself and improve as a person in a post-revolution world. Nanami and Shiori (Who, for the record, I also really like) also kinda fall into this category but they're more popular due to being really funny and part of one of the yuri situations ever respectively.

22) your favorite part of canon that everyone else ignores

For this, let's go with a series both of us know well. One of my favourite parts about Raffina's character is that the reason that she's so hardworking due to what is basically an in-universe disability. While the former is a core part of her character the latter isn't discussed as much or at least not in this light. I think it's neat that she has this aspect when she could've been just the regular plain ol' version of the Haughty Gayish Richgirl Stereotype.

Can't reply from my main for some reason but tbh I've been skipping the OP/ED already because they're. Not friendly to those who have sensitive eyes (me). I also think Dual Rulers is great so far but some of the recent twists with Unika are Kind Of Stupid I Think. A lot of the fight scenes are ones I had to watch with lower brightness too for the aforementioned reason, so if this is something you personally struggle with, please keep this in mind!!!

Is it wrong to admit I kinda wanna wait till Dual Rulers is over to watch it? I wanna see it in full before giving my thoughts and till the hype dies down. Especially since I'm seeing some negativity and your posts isn't helping.

Tbh Unika is really the only thing I don't like about it. The animation, opening/ending themes, and everyone else that's not her have been awesome at best to "pretty cool" at the worst

There are only 3 episodes left though and they're short if you skip the OP/ED and recaps, so waiting just barely over 2 weeks for it to wrap up and watching it all at once wouldn't be a bad way to do it

Touhou Lostword, I guess. I played it before I swore off gachas just to be part of the hype and the moment I was like, wait a minute! I hate mischaracterisation in fanworks, gambling, and adult characters being turned into sexualised children! I immediately deleted it and nowadays groan whenever I see it.

🥊 - what fighting game do you think you’re the best at?

Not any of them, but probably UNI1/2 if I had to pick. I can't train in fighting games for long anyway before my hands blow up so if I have a limited time to play, I'd rather fight than train.

💪 - how often do you play?

Not much anymore for the reasons stated above. However, if someone I know does ask me to hop on and I'm available at the time, I'll boot up the game in a heartbeat.

Any other 15.5th Project Shrine Maiden: Touhou Hyouibana ~ Antinomy of Common Flowers fans in here? Plays like nothing else I've experienced, even other Touhou fighters. Love the plot and new characters too. Awesome game and will always be in the top 1 FG in my book for starting the rube goldberg machine that resulted in me coming out as transgender.

What a hard question to answer! But off the top of my head, I really like KARA NO KYOUKAI (Melty Blood Actress Again), Last Occultism ~ Esotericit of the Present World (All versions, but especially the Antinomy of Common Flowers one! I promise, I'm not biased!). Special shout-outs to Song Of Executioners ~f.F.S. Special Arena~ (The Rumble Fish) for plaguing my mind as of recent. That's a good thing. It's a good track! While picking faves is always hard for me, everyone is free to ask me for FG song recommendations. My inbox is open!
