Introducing Starpalace!
Starpalace is an indie-pop band from Stavanger, Norway. Throughout the last year, the band has left a mark with their immediate, catchy pop songs and numerous concerts in their hometown. With members from previous metalband Overthrow and Pur Puré, they are now ready for something new, fresh and exciting with Starpalace. Vocalist Ingunn Bache adds a vital depth to the band’s sound that draws inspiration from bands like Blondie and The Cure, as well as Highasakite and First Aid Kit.
The band has put themselves on the map by winning two spots at Norwegian festivals Mablis and Fjellpark and also by playing numerous concerts in their hometown. They are now releasing their self-produced debut EP followed up by festivals in the summer. The EP, ‘Loaded’, with its 20 minutes of duration, is packed with big choruses, hooks and an attitude showing a band ready to claim their position as one of the most exciting up-and-coming bands.
Starpalace is Ole Gaard Varhaug, Erlend Færevåg, Espen Knutsen, Espen Eidem and Ingunn Bache.
Their two first singles ‘Fireworks’ and ‘Young’ are available on all streaming services.
