PMMM Precure AU! It was fun trying to keep their outfits recognizable while trying to make them look more cohesive. Homura's is definitely the most changed, so I hope it still looks enough like her???

The themes would be gemstones, jewelry, and wishes. I'd probably have their Cure names be gemstones, maybe Opal/Morganite, Sapphire/Turquoise, Topaz/Citrine, Ruby, Amethyst, but I'm not strongly attached... Transformation item is supposed to be like a little faberge egg style jewelry box with the ring as a key TroRouge style!

Vague plot idea: There's a big important magic gem that can grant any wish, guarded by the Kyubeys for generations. The last person who successfully used it was a princess centuries back, but she vanished mysteriously and no one remembers what she wished for anymore... (Definitely she was NOT lost in time and will NOT show up later on with her own thoughts on if the Precure are doing things correctly...)

To activate it, you need to gather enough energy from granting people's wishes. Recently there's a coven of witches going around bespelling people into serving them and stealing their wish energy... Unclear on the end goal, but it doesn't look great! So one baby Kyubey heads off alone to try and awaken the Precure to fight them off and claim the big wish for themselves, to maybe bring back the princess???

Possibly Sayaka becomes a witch for a while, probably due to being disillusioned by actually meeting The Princess plus realizing the Kyubeys have not been totally honest. Kyoko's backstory is not quite as harsh as canon (also she didn't have magic to accidentally brainwash people), so instead her dad just became erratic to the point of losing custody, so she + Momo are growing up in an orphanage/foster care... Definitely the elder Kyubey is up to something...

Something rlly interesting to me is how most of the instruments and sports stuff in Dess's room is dented. Especially the instruments.

How long did she keep up her hobbies? When something didn't work, did she break it and move on? Is she the type to get frustrated enough at herself to smash a violin?

Even what I'm assuming is her whiffle bat is pretty wrecked (probably somewhat easy to do since whiffle bats are hollow plastic)

Idk. It's so fascinating what her room says about her and this could be a new facet of her personality to consider

The entire area the fight takes place in is christmas themed. There's snow and a christmas tree! Also one of the door codes is 1225 iirc. If you add that to the snowflake attacks and the antlers, this character is definitely a Holiday.

Rudy's got his own things going on, and narratively, I don't think it'd make much sense. He can't really leave the hospital without being noticed either. Someone would've commented on it already.

Can't be Noelle, since we know what she looks like in the dark world.

Can't be Carol, simply because THIS

is not someone who is in control. Carol, is very much someone who is trying to be in control at all times, she is not going to be a puppet this literally.

5. Narratively, it'd make sense if the controlling mother was controlling her rebellious daughter. She might not have caused whatever happened to Dess to make her this way, she might be trying to fix it even. She's still pulling strings though.

6. There's also the baseball bat sword and the Gaster hands, and probably a dozen other things I missed.

7. Also, I think there's multiple knights anyway. Carol could easily be one of them. Kris is definitely one of them. The Roaring Knight specifically, is Dess.

Also, slight tangent, I don't think Carol's faction is directly related to Gaster. Gaster's some kind of slightly eldritch entity, and so are we, the soul (and so is Dess at this point). To me, Carol reads more like a mortal trying to toy with forces she doesn't really understand, but thinks she does (specifically with the comment "YOU are always welcome here", probably directed at us, she does Not know how much of a gremlin the average player is lol).
