She is doing her best to sound tough. Dark pathways were not the best to travel while it was night. Though, that didn’t really stop them from continuing down the path. It wasn��t until Ashton mentioned how it was scary that she took notice. Only then did she get a bit worried and afraid but, she was going to keep a positive look on the fact that nothing will happen. It was just a pathway. What could even go wrong? Don’t think about it possibly being scary and it wont seem scary. Good thinking.

“Well, you don’t have to keep yourself from drinking. As long as you drink slowly and have water in between you will have a better experience.” Rena never drank any alcoholic beverage but, she knew these things from working in the hospital for so long now. Giving a small smile, she wouldn’t doubt him on his comment. Everyone had a different level of alcohol tolerance after all. “If you ever drink again... make sure to pace yourself.”

        Carefully does he get to his feet, a contemplative hand settled at his chin. For such a simple question, he looks to be taking it quite seriously. ❝ Well, there are many reasons, aren’t there? The shape for one thing. They’re useful, too – Alcohol tastes better when you store it in a barrel. Oh, and the craftsmanship. It takes a lot of experience to make a good barrel; it’s an artform. You’d be surprised! ❞

Wow, he actually had quite a few reasons. This took her by surprise but, she listened quietly. She was still concerned over this whole thing though. “I see... So, would you say that you are a barrel expert?” At least she is trying to understand. Tilting her head, she kept her gaze on the barrel Ashton was previously hugging. She really couldn’t see the appeal when it came to an item that was just wood and metal.

Should she be concerned? Should she call for a doctor? He is just hugging a barrel like it's a person. This is a bit worrying. “Um... I guess...” His love for such an inanimate object was always odd to her but, she never verbally said so. “If you don’t mind me asking, why do you like barrels so much? Are they really that amazing to get you to hug them like you currently are?”

        ❝ The best part of a barrel is its shape. The curved sides, the flat top and bottom – It’s nice to look at. There’s no denying that Ashton and his dragons are certainly curious. but she looks so thoroughly pleased with herself that he can’t consider the thought of prying.   ❝ Ehehe, alright. I’ll wait, then, in anticipation. ❞

“You wont regret waiting! Tomorrow will be so much fun! Everyone will be happy tomorrow, I promise!” She was certain everyone would be happy with her gifts tomorrow. She worked hard on them and had quite a few failures in some chocolates. “Oh right! Ashton, do you like bitter or sweet?”

Being a teacher sounded not too fun but, it was something her seemed to enjoy. She can’t really hate on it, not that she would of course! Keeping a friendly smile, she nodded her head. “I am glad you have learned your lesson from what happened. I am still in awe that you allowed such a thing to happen.” People here sure we odd to be able to allow something so horrible to happen to them.
