š³ļøāššŗš¦ Pride march was held in Kyiv, Ukraine for the first time since the beginning of full-scale invasion. It's dangerous for big crowds to gather for a long period of time due to potential russian airstrikes, so the event was smaller and shorter than usual, but still important and powerful.

Three years ago, russia began a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. russia started unprovoked war. A genocide (not the first one in our history) against Ukrainians. The only reason I can still run this blog is because of the people who gave their lives in the fight against the russian invasion. These men and women, and trans people, and non-binary people (yes, all of the LGBTQA+ spectrum as well, they're fighting too, in case you didn't know) are true heroes for me. These words though sounds shallow and not enough to express the scales of my gratitude. Like literally someone died for me to live and still enjoy Simming.Ā
I used to suffer from the deep depression, I had suicidal thoughts. Not any more. Now that I know russians want me dead and silent, now that I know so many people (and not just Ukrainians, foreigners as well, those volunteers who joined Ukrainian army) are sacrificingĀ their lives for me to wake up every morning - I have no moral right to give up.Ā
Ukraine now is fighting the tirany, stands for democratic values many countries failed to simply vote for. So I'm asking you to stand on the right side of the history. If you're a foreigner, please consider donating to United24. If you're Ukrainian... You know whom to donate.Ā

Ukrainian Simmers are allowed to not want to have contact with Russian ones.
š¤”Imagine complaining to a Ukrainian person because they donāt want to convert your request just because it was made by RuSsIaNs
My friend @ts3-rauh (who happens to live in the same Ukrainian city as me, Kharkiv) received a long message accusing her of being bad for not wanting to convert custom content made by Russians to The Sims 3."
To your knowledge her rules:
"Don't convert CC created by Russians" (the people from the country that destroyedāand continue to destroyāOUR CITY, OUR LIVES.)
(Also, the same people who KILLED MY FATHER and DESTROYED MY HOUSEājust my personal experience.) (Also, the same people who bomb Kyiv, where @hoodoowoman is currently livingātrying to sleep through missile attacks every night.)
So, not wanting her and other ukrainian creators to convert Russian CC = a sin.
Meanwhile, Russians killing people = theyāre just poor souls who canāt leave their country.
No, they can leave. They can move into my house instead: If you feel bad in your country, Iāll send you my house keys by post, and you can live there freely. (Not sure if the door and lock are still there, but hey, itās yours.) *Picture from my house in Kharkiv, Ukraine.*
I donāt care about Russians. I donāt want to interact with them. I donāt want them to exist in my information space. I donāt even want to remember they exist.
You, as a non-Ukrainian, can do whatever you wantājust respect our boundaries.
