HIDEWYRM SPECIES OFFICIAL LAUNCH!

Welcome to HIDEWYRMS! A semi-open species based on dragons and worms on a string! Server link: https://discord.gg/3f6aQYSYab (You must be 16 or above to join!) So! ..What are Hidewyrms?

The Hide and Wyrm are two organisms that function as one unit! Both coexist to provide the other with protection and comfort. They are so integral to each other's existence that they are commonly mistaken as just one creature. Hidewyrms are very smart and social, with lifespans and intelligence on par with humans. Hidewyrms have the ability to "mimic" their surroundings, which is how they have survived thus far. However, due to less selective pressure nowadays, Hidewyrms can use their mimicry for self expression instead! 

They can also go into their "Hide form" when they sense any nearby danger, giving them a look closely similar to a worm on a string toy!

Hidewyrms have a total of 8 subspecies, each subspecies with it's unique traits and lore.

A "charge" is something that your Hidewyrm takes inspiration for their appearance. They can vary from objects, food, animals, or even aesthetics! Different Hidewyrms subspecies may take a charge after their environment, such as how a Seawyrm may take a charge after sea creatures, or with Skywyrms and different types of birds. However, different subspecies can take charge that doesn't fit with their subspecies. You could have a seawyrm with an ice cream charge, or a skywyrm with a Vaporwave aesthetic charge! So long as the appearance of their subspecies remain.

As a SEMI-OPEN SPECIES we do not sell MYOs for any irl currency, this is to prevent any sort of financial trouble amongst our members and staff. Each member will have 2 initial MYOs to create their first Hidewyrm designs, then you can earn MYOs by claiming them weekly or buying them with our in-server currency! We may also have future events where we give out more MYOs! The reason why we have an MYO/Verification system is so that we can keep track of all verified Hidewyrms and trading/ownership status!

We want to give our members creative freedom without putting it behind a paywall, not only that but we also want to support our own artists! Within our discord server, we have a trading center where you can advertise your Hidewyrms designs and art commissions! We also have a shop system which members can choose to advertise their adoptables through the official Hidewyrms Toyhouse account! Our server is LGBTQA+ safe, 16+, SFW and system-friendly! We have a raid-prevention verification system and a ticket system for you to inquire about anything with our staff! (A lot of the following is copy-pasted from my twitter since I'm very tired) We got an eviction notice on our apartment building that we all have to move out by the end of this January. The owner had sold off the building and they didn't reach out to us about it, any ways of contacting them is pointless as they're not reading anything I sent. This is already fucking terrible because we already have barely anything to feed ourselves to begin with, + the fact we have to go back to college and school and stuff. So not only do we have to worry about how to move out but also how to feed ourselves.

My mother is also struggling terribly, she's still very sick and any salary she's getting is being deducted to pay off previous debts. And I'm very worried about how this stress will affect her health this month. So I'm asking for your help. Any help. Donations or placing a comm to support us would mean the world to us right now.

Full transparency about commission work - please understand it will take a while to complete because we have college to attend to. as well as the fact that the constant worry of hunger and homelessness eating at my mind, terribly affecting our mental health.
