This book took me MONTHS to read because every time I picked it up it would be all I thought about. At work, in the car, trying to sleep I was OBSESSED with the drama. The story telling is just so good! The messy hot and cold, year after year, high highs and low lows were so raw. I was gasping, screaming, crying at every turn. This story was devastating in the very best way. EASY FIVE STARS!

anyway you should always remember that all those foreigners you see dying on the news are just as real people as you are who have just as much interiority as you do. there is nothing about you that makes you more important and it is by pure chance that you are not in their position. in fact, this holds for all of history. every person, no matter the horror of the fate that befell them, had just as much interiority as you do. i feel like some people haven't fully internalized this.

Brooke and Owen keep finding themselves tossed together and end up finding something that was not at all what they thought they were looking for. Pick Me has lovable characters, hot banter, and is the perfect flirty summer read!
