The thing about having Social Difficulties is that it's just really embarrassing. I had like a brief period of time as a teenager where I was like aware of being autistic and I had kind of a free pass for being Bad At It because I was like 16. And now I'm 21 and the same person I always was & it's like Oh, God, Still?? Yeah still. It's permanent. I'm marginally better at my human person impression than I was at 16 (or 12, or 6) but it's uhhh (scratches my head and grimaces)

I designed him like that because it is very funny (and very cute). I noticed people like to make clothes for their plushies, so that was also the motivation. It makes things easier. The little hands have paw pads, too.
