Ive taken some time off from posting much or talking about my series Forever and a Day. I've been going through a pretty nasty depression these days, and am just keeping to myself. If you haven't seen the work I highly recommend you go into Sopo and check it out. Because this will be the last time I show my photography for a long time. Going on a little hiatus from photography to work on bettering myself. This photograph is of my grandpa in his backyard of his house in deer park, Long Island, NY. I shot the photograph of him the evening before I flew back to California. I didn't not know that would not only be my last photograph of him but the last moment I would spend with him. Whelp, love you all, hope you all got a chance to see the work. Definitely the most personal shit I've dropped onto you guys. Sopo is open 7am-5pm and the work will be coming down in roughly 10 days ish...

Heres an image from my current photography exhibition, Forever and a Day, which is up for the month of March at Social Policy in downtown San Jose, CA. The series is about my short time living with my grandfather in Deer Park, Long Island, NY in summer 2014.  I then came back to San Jose where my immediate family resides. In winter 2015, my grandfather suddenly passed away. I went back to Deer Park for two weeks to attend the funeral and reconnect with family and continued documenting the suburban sprawl.

I'm nervous, stressed, but very excited to make an informal announcement that I am currently working on a solo exhibition that will be featured next First Friday, March 3rd at Sopo Cafe in downtown San Jose. 200 S 1st St. from 7pm-11pm to be exact! It will be some of my most personal photography work I've ever shown. I hope that you all can clear that evening from your schedules and make it out to the show. I'd love to see some familiar faces and discuss my work with you. Facebook event and flyers will be up real soon to make it even more official. Thanks for reading, see y'all out there!
