I can’t stop thinking about Father’s Day in Hawkins and how Dustin, Steve, and Eddie don’t have relationships with their fathers so they all hang out together that day. And Steve listens as Eddie and Dustin try to explain DnD to him but he doesn’t understand. And Eddie and Steve give Dustin relationship advice when he reveals Susie isn’t happy for ditching her for The Party the other day. And Steve tries to teach them both about the intricacies of basketball so they can support Lucas. And when they get hungry Steve attempts to BBQ because that’s what “dads do on father’s day” but its a disaster so they end up at a hole in the wall dinner smooshed into a booth and order way too much food. And maybe, maybe they’d realize they don’t need great biological dads in their lives because they have each other.
