What an amazing week! I could not be more proud of these kids. They went from 8am-4pm Monday through Friday and stuck it out. Through all the hard work, pain, fun, and learning new things they kept their commitment. Seeing them grow as people and players was truly a blessing. Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there! I must admit, I do feel bad for you though. I don’t mean it in a bad way. It’s just, well. Ok let me explain. You see I pretty much had the perfect day today. I’m not just saying that, no, I really mean it. Like THE perfect day. I won’t go into too much detail (wife taking care of me all day, had pancakes and bacon for breakfast, went to visit my dad and my abuela at the cemetery where Noah and Cobi found the missing canister (long story), got some PS5 in, had wingstop, knocked off some stuff on my to-do-list, played Uno with Harper, the wifey brought me Starbucks, got some amazing cards / presents from my Nicole and the kids, watched Noah and Harper paint in the backyard, kicked the soccer ball with Harper, kissed my wife - a lot, had movie night with the fam, and got to do absolutely nothing for long stretches of time) because I don’t want to bore you but believe me it was amazing. So thank you for all the texts and calls. Thank you to my kids for being wonderful today. And thank you to my superstar one of a kind beautiful wife for loving me and making today so special. Went to see @newsies at the CCPA and had an amazing time with the fam! The kids actually sat through and behaved the entire time. Plus they were singing at the end! This musical will always hold a special place in our families heart. The cast and production was outstanding! Had my first tasting of @nillysburgershop, a new family owned local burger shop, and it was delicious! It was totally worth the wait. I got the double with fries (yes I get my burgers plain) and loved every bite. The burger was cooked perfectly, the melted cheese was gooey and everywhere, and the potato bun was perfectly toasted but also soft all at the same time.
