everyone please appreciate these blood splatters outside of my workplace yesterday <3

#a woman fell at the crosswalk and hit her head and stood there getting bandaged up <3 #she was ok she went to the mercy next door but I was quite alarmed at the puddle (she didn’t hit her head that jagged rock don’t worry)#this has been the craziest week. boss steals a car. woman cracks her head on sidewalk. we get a health inspection. and new ice machine.#ALL IN ONE DAY #I work in a coffee shop!!!!#a day in the life of steeve

it’s very curious that he played this great joke not on the 33 year old man. Or the 30 year old man. Or me, the 30 year old dyke. Or the 34 year old woman. But the 20 year old neurotic girl. who he has expressed interest in before. and who has a nice new car. Curious.

UPDATE 2:

boss told all of us (the 6 of us who showed up to this 7 pm meeting) how he was just joking around and how at every job he’s ever had they’d steal each others cars as a joke alllll the time (BRO WHAT?) so that’s why he thought it was ok and that woe is me he didn’t think she would take it so seriously because she chuckled and walked out after he told her he had driven her car away as an April fool’s joke and he didn’t think she would report him over it !!!!!! 🤧😢 but he apologized and it’s allllll coool now. allll good. she sees now it was funny actually. but she IS quitting.

“we like to have fun here. We have a fun and playful atmosphere and we like to keep it lax and don’t want anyone getting write ups now do we? <definitely not a threat 😄 so everyone say you feel safe and happy here right? Right? Right? I’ll tell my boss everything is cool and that everyone is happy and that this meeting went well!”

but the aforementioned coworker DID quit over it and report him is the thing. And he DID steal her car and drive it to another parking lot. And told EVERYONE. including customers. About his funny car stealing prank. That he did. On camera. when he went into the back and got her purse. And fished out her keys. And went outside and unlocked her brand new car. And got in. And drove it away. And parked it in ANOTHER parking lot. And then went back in. And put her keys in her bag. And let her work the rest of her shift. And then let her freak out when she clocked out to leave and saw her car was gone. And then told her someone must’ve stolen it. And then let her think someone stole her brand new car. And then finally told her that he had ‘just moved it to another parking lot’. As an April fools joke. That he, a 45 year old manager, played on his 20 year old minimum wage employee. While she was up front. Working. And he was outside. Stealing her car. As a joke.

#for reference I work in a fucking coffee shop.#this meeting happened bc I emailed the big boss (my boss’s boss) (very serious man who seems to take concerns very seriously)#at 230 asking if we can get locks bc our boss STOLE SOMEONES CAR (I wasn’t sure if he knew bc coworker only called HR and we all know HR)#and he responded back at 3:30 assuring me he was investigating it and taking my safety concerns seriously.#and at 3:35 our boss started blowing up the work chat (I’m not in it lol) about needing to have this emergency meeting. so suffice to say.#big boss must’ve not known he did that and he must be in some hot water for STEALING A FUCKING CAR.#hopefully he gets fucking fired. or at least transferred. I’m sick of the pranks snd jokes and lack of any accountability.#manifesting. everyone manifest his downfall with me. pleas.#(I’ve emailed big boss about the schedules not being posted before and he replied asap and it was resolved asap so I think #this will get taken seriously considering he STOLE A FUCKING CAR and that’s worse than not posting a schedule on time.#a day in the life of steeve
