How does texture translate to paper? Do rough objects make rough surfaces? Does smooth make smooth? Find different things in your house that can replace paint brushes. Can they make shapes too?

Run outside in this beautiful weather with a homemade kite. Materials- glue/tape, string/ribbon, paper, chopsticks/tongue suppressors/skewers/sticks, scissors. This helps with fine motor skills cutting the string, cutting the diamond, and squeezing the glue. It helps with gross motor body movement and balancing.

We put food coloring in our ice cube trays. We tried to paint with them but they were a little watery 😂 our friends have taught us you can do this on fabric and dye it. This is something great to do on a hot day!

Letter match... we do this activity a lot in the sensory table. Children can find shapes, letters, numbers, different objects, colors, and more when hidden. If children find this hard, make the letters bigger and do only the letters in their name. If this activity is too easy, make it a game by timing how quickly each person can find and match items. Ready, set, go!

I am hearing many of our students love singing songs these days. Here is one they loved to in the classroom. Unfortunately it does not have sound. That makes it all worth it to sing along together! ;) Remember to click on present on the top right.
