I think it would take Pony a veryyyy long time to pick up that book again. There’s been times that he’s tried but it was too hurtful for a long time. I’d like to think that when he does eventually feel okay reading it again, he would go to the cemetery and read to Johnny again :’) but yeah I think it would take a long time to coexist with his grief and the memories of Johnny
