The 2014 Luxury & Retail Conference was a huge success. The President of E-Commerce at Conde Naste, and the founders of Tinker Tailor, Story and Warby Parker shared their expertise on the future of retail. Key industry leaders from Equinox, Kiehl's, Bonobos, Gilt, J Crew, Vince, Tiffany's and many more engaged in lively discussions on the changing in-store experience, the impact of technology on the industry and about disrupting luxury. Here are a selection of photos from the day!

TSDL Models
Here are some of the models that will be working the runway this Friday at TSDL
MC: Dan Gidycz
Known primarily for his role as surly Editor-in-Chief of the wildly popular Stern Opportunity newspaper, Dan is extremely honored to be this year's TSDL MC. While lacking inherent or learned fashion sense of any kind, he's pleased to display his enthusiasm for publicly expressing opinions. It's a little known fact that having once, many years ago, driven through Wyoming while very hungry and suffering from mild heatstroke, Dan is a leading expert on the business of cattle ranching.
Hilaire le Gouëllec de Schwarz
Hilaire eats a hot dog almost every week once he goes out (this is impulsive) and is color blind but still succeeds to dress (very well, we might add).
Jenn Shearer
Jenn enjoys eating Sour Patch watermelons, watching the Investigation Discovery network, and listening to Beyonce's latest album on repeat
Jake Singer
Aside from quite obviously being a rockstar, Jake loves to cook and is a coffee expert, having worked at Intelligentsia Coffee prior to coming to Stern.
Jimi Oh
In addition to being VP of First Years, Jimi Oh is an ordained reverend, loves getting pedicures, and, as evidenced by the photo below, has been a fashionista since an early age.
Sade Balogun
If Sade I had to eat one food forever, it would be waffles. Also, Olivia Pope is her WCW, every Wednesday and once, she danced with R. Kelly... while Ignition was playing.
Serkan Parlak
Serkan grew up in Turkey, loves listening to hardcore electronic music (almost as if he were a computer in a past life) and never, ever smiles, even though he's a pretty happy guy. We think he's just practicing his Blue Steel.
Zoe Fuller- Young
In addition to being a dual degree student between Stern and Wagner, Zoe was the school mascot at Bryn Mawr College, her alma mater.
Catie Cambria

In addition to being co-president of the NYU Stern Luxury & Retail Club, Catie has seen every romantic comedy ever made (thinks "The Wedding Planner" was a great movie) and thought about turning her one-bedroom apt into a studio with a big closet.
Bradford Stein

Brad's one indulgence is ice cream.
Sarah Smith

The co-president of NYU Stern Luxury & Retail Club, Sarah has been modeling since the young age of 6.

She developed a strategic plan and program design for a new department within the organization.
Judy Herbstman
Judy spent last summer with The Community Preservation Corporation (CPC), a national leader in helping developers finance and build affordable multi-family housing. She worked on project management on various key initiatives.

Larry Arbuthnott

Larry spent last summer with the Calvert Social Investment Foundation, a $200 million fund that provides socially-oriented financial intermediaries (e.g., MFIs, CDFIs) with crucial access to capital. His focus last summer was to explore how the organization can expand its international loan portfolio to fund new and innovative lending models.
Craig Wilson

Craig spent last summer with the Collaborative Fund. He was responsible for helping to source new investments and developing the “state of collaborative consumption”.
Rosie Rodriguez

Rosie spent last summer in Brazil with NAMI Rede Feminista de Arte Urbana, a Brazil-based NGO that uses urban art to promote awareness about women’s issues. She worked directly with the founder on key projects to promote gender equality.
