Not me seeing this and immediately picturing Peter saying this to Stiles. Perhaps in the hopes of snapping him out of a mood brought on by the current situation- but also to put it out there that sometimes revenge really does take time and that it can be the smart thing to wait instead of immediately react.

It would also probably come across a little condescending. But let’s be honest- Stiles would know that Peter meant it as a serious suggestion and that he’d probably help carry out the revenge if asked.

If you are at all interested in an urban fantasy, murder mystery, reverse harem, with book characters that have come to life- Steffanie Holmes’ Nevermore Bookshop Mysteries series has a kickstarter campaign (ending on July 29th, 2022) for exclusive hardback editions with foiled covers and they are beautiful!

Currently the first four books in the series are part of the campaign- but with another $700 NZD (New Zealand Dollars) the next stretch goal will be unlocked and the fifth book will also be produced and can be added to your contribution/reward. (There are additional stretch goals that would allow for book six, book 3.5 which is a Christmas novella, a notebook which is a nod to the upcoming book, and a surprise for the very last stretch goal.)

Though the series isn’t complete- the author has confirmed that these first six books do complete a story arc and they’d like to do another campaign later on for the last books (7-10).

I’ve included it on this blog because one of the pledge/reward tiers includes access to the author’s courses on self-publishing and writing (which come with lifetime access).

And the kickstarter is open internationally! Shipping does cost a bit (though the shipping cost are included in the totals when reaching for the stretch goals).

I’ve included the link to the kickstarter and to the goodreads page for the first book for more information. And if you’re new to kickstarter you won’t be charged until the project funds. Also, when additional stretch goals are met, you’ll receive an email update once you are backing the project so you’ll know that there is a new book available to add to your pledge (as an add on item).

Prompt idea I had a dream about for Steter or Stetopher.

So this could be either full AU Stiles or it could be like everyone drifted apart canon Stiles. But Stiles has been working on his Spark. He shows up to a supernatural convention or festival or whatever and everyone is weirdly nice to him. Total strangers are offering to pay for his lunch and giving up their spot in line. He runs into Peter or Chris and they realize Stiles is the spark everyone’s talking about. He’s the first spark to show up in like a hundred years. And then idk if it becomes like a courting thing where everyone wants him to join their pack. Or maybe Sparks traditionally have a royalty type role in the supernatural community. But Peter or Chris or both of them help Stiles figure it out and they fall in love and everything’s great.

“Hi, I’m Stiles. Pronouns are he/him. I like long walks in the forest where I don’t get eaten and my idea of a good time is pizza and action movies.”

The pack stares.

The Guardian drops the playful tone and recites, “Stiles. Trained in witchcraft, Druidic law, and mentored to succession by a certified Mage, as well as cultured by a water nymph, a pixie, and a classified Fae. My status is a Spark.”

Peter’s breath is stolen half-way through the Guardian speaking. His head spins, thoughts jumbled as they get caught around the incredulity of nymph, pixie, and Fae. Chris’ fingers tighten around Peter’s in matching wonder.

“Most impressive,” Talia says. “Stiles is a title?”

The Guardian laughs. “No, it’s my name.”

Beacon Hills has been waiting a century for its Guardian to appear. Finally, in 2005, the Nemeton awakens and a human Spark stumbles into the Hale pack’s lives. Worth the Wait

Fanfic for the LOVELY Whreflections for my Steter Secret BFF pic <3. Its a quick Drabble about dragons and their nests. Whre is one of the best people I’ve meant in a long time. She’s always good natured and deserves all the love and support in the world! <3 

Chopping trees was tougher without a hungry dragon to help out. A simple whack of a tail or snap of its jaws was enough to break most branches at the base. In his-her younger days Stiles’ dragon, Wilder, could fell an oak in under half an hour. She was young and lean, her scales glimmering with flecks of soft yellow amidst her rust-colored flank. She was nearly the size of a horse and one hundred times as strong.

Stiles shook nostalgic thoughts of her from his head. He leaned down and tied his bundle with a rope and threw it over his back. He’d tried to get the ones with the most foliage attached, but that wouldn’t harm the tree long term.

This part of the forest was closer to the edge of the woods than he would have liked, but without Wilder to ride on it was about as far as he could go on foot. There was a narrow path of stone and dead leaves delineating the trail from the rest of the woods.
