CBD + Pets

If you have tried CBD for yourself and noticed the potential benefits, then we have some great news for you! Much like the human body, animals have an Endocannabinoid System (ECS) as well. What’s ECS? Scroll down! 👇
The Endocannabinoid System maintains bodily homeostasis, making it one of the most important physiologic systems involved in maintaining and establishing animal health!
With that said, giving CBD oil or treats with your furry friends may relieve them of pain and anxiety, improve mood and sleep as well as other possible benefits. But, is using CBD on my pet safe? The answer to that is yes, as long as you are giving them high-quality products with the correct dosage.
When looking for a high-quality product, we highly recommend that you confirm the company has a 3rd Party Lab Report or COA. This states that the product has been tested and all ingredients in the products are legal and legit. Below is a guide that will help you decide how much CBD to give your pet.
We recommend our Full-Spectrum CBD Oil for your pets. One full dropper (1mL) of our 500mg is equal to 15mg of CBD. This will help you determine how much CBD this calculator suggests!
How should you give CBD to your pet? Our favorite way is to drip oil in their food twice per day (this depends on dosage) or we put some oil on their treats! However, if you ordered pet treats, then these are self-explanatory!
If you have any questions about using our CBD with your pets, send us an email at [email protected].

The Endocannabinoid System

If you are new to the world of CBD, you may not know what the Endocannabinoid System (also known as ECS) is. So, let’s go over what this system is in your body, and how using CBD can benefit it.
The Endocannabinoid System is made out of cannabinoid receptors, self-made cannabis-like compounds, and enzymes that create and inactivate them. The main goal of this system is to maintain bodily homeostasis, which is biological harmony in response to changes in the environment. This makes the ECS one of the most important physiologic systems involved in maintaining and establishing human health.
So, how does using CBD oil help this bodily system? Using CBD activates the receptors which help assist in treating pain and inflammation. CBD has also been shown as a partial supporter of another receptor which may lead to CBD’s antidepressant, anti-anxiety, and neuroprotective effects.
It is also shown that to feel any potential benefits from the use of CBD, the human body needs a minimum of 15mg of CBD. If you have tried CBD oil, or any other types of CBD and haven’t noticed anything, you may have not ingested enough. Luckily for you, our lowest dose of oil is 500mg and has 15mg of CBD per dose with our 1000mg having just above 30mg per dose.

How to Use CBD Oil

If you are new to CBD oil, you may not know how to use it! This blog will go in-depth about how to use your oil to get the most out of it. Not sure what Hemp or CBD is and want to know where to get it? Our previous blog goes over exactly what you need to know!
Step 1: Grab your bottle, give it a good shake, and open it up. If you haven’t used CBD oil before, we suggest taking .5 mL right away in the morning and right before bed. Feel free to up the dose as much as needed.
Step 2: When you have your dropper ready and measured, open your mouth, and empty the oil under your tongue. Hold the oil under your tongue for 30 seconds to a minute and then swallow.
Step 3: Enjoy relief from stress, anxiety, and pain! Repeat this process twice per day, and repeat as much as needed.
You may be wondering why you hold the CBD oil under your tongue. Let me explain that because it is vital! Under your tongue, there is a mucous membrane that contains many capillaries. When you place the Hemp oil here, it has almost a direct route into your bloodstream. That means you feel the full benefits from the oil almost instantaneously!
We sure hope this helps you understand how to use our CBD oil in the most beneficial way. If you have any questions about our products or Hemp and CBD in general, feel free to contact us!

5 Potential Benefits of CBD

CBD is everywhere, and for a good reason. That’s because of all of its potential benefits. In this blog, I will talk about 5 different benefits that CBD may help you with.
1. Managing Stress & Anxiety, Without Meds: Using a Full-Spectrum CBD Oil that is high in CBD may reduce your body’s natural stress response and stress hormones according to MedicalNewsToday.com.
CBD can act much like a pain pill. It kicks in right when you need it, which brings you back into balance. CBD may help our brains access and reduce the breakdown of important chemicals that we produce — such as serotonin and the “bliss” molecule.
2. Reduces Pain & Inflammation: Research suggests that both sublingual and topical use may support moderate chronic pain and reduce inflammation.
A study done in 2015 indicates that mice were given topical CBD for arthritis and had significantly less inflammation and pain after four days of use.
3. Improves Sleep: If you are struggling to get a full night of sleep, CBD may be able to help. By helping reduce inflammation and pain, our bodies can enjoy a more restful and deeper sleep.
4. Heal Without a Habit: There’s nothing wrong with a habit, as long as it benefits you, like CBD. CBD is not known to be addictive, so using the same dosage or even increasing your dose is perfectly fine.
5. Achieve Mental Clarity, Not a High: CBD will not give you a psychoactive or psychotropic effect. Yes, CBD comes from Cannabis Sativa, however, it only contains minimal amounts of THC (up to 0.3% to be exact). With our Full-Spectrum products, THC & CBD work together to help alleviate stress and anxiety along with a handful of other terpenes.
I hope these 5 tips help you understand a little more of the benefits that CBD may have. If you have any questions about CBD or our Hemp products, send us an email at [email protected].

What is CBD?

It’s no joke that Hemp and CBD are all the talk right now. Whether it’s online or on the news, it’s everywhere. So, what is Hemp and why is its main cannabinoid CBD so awesome?
Cannabidiol is a chemical compound that is found in the cannabis plant. This compound is naturally occurring, and it is used in many different kinds of products, such as our Full-Spectrum CBD Oils. CBD causes a relaxing and calm feeling when ingested unlike THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) which is psychoactive.
Wait, what? CBD isn’t psychoactive? Yes, that is correct! A cannabis plant is made up of many different compounds known as cannabinoids, but today we are focusing on CBD and THC. CBD is the part of the plant that is non-psychoactive which means that you won’t feel any euphoric effects. Sounds pretty great, right?
You may find when shopping through our products that some include THC up to 0.3%. Under the 2018 Farm Bill, hemp was made federally legal to grow. Meaning that consumers can grow and use hemp products as long as they are compliant with their state. With that said, our products are legal and safe to consume throughout the United States! Also, don’t worry about the 0.3% THC. This is not enough to give psychoactive effects but may show positive on a urinalysis test.
Now that we’ve gone over the basics of Hemp and Cannabidiol, let’s go into the benefits of this wonderful substance. Although CBD has not been approved by the FDA (our 3rd Party Lab Reports show all of the compounds in our products), many have claimed to feel different types of benefits from its usage, including myself! Some of these benefits include less back, joint, and nerve pain, minimal anxiety, improved mood, relaxation, and better sleep.
Because it is not approved by the FDA, it is hard to confirm these claims. But, with many different reviews from a handful of customers, it is worth giving a try. If you are experiencing pain and use many different types of medications and looking to try an alternative route, Hemp and CBD might be for you!
Please consult with a physician before use if you have a serious medical condition or use prescription medications. A Doctor’s advice should be sought before using this and any supplemental dietary product.
