A Very Avengers Christmas

For @starsandsupernovae for the @stevetonysecretsanta ! I hope you like it smol bean!!

An Avengers Christmas includes:

Tony prancing around the tower in a Santa hat for the entire month of December and having FRIDAY blast Christmas music in his wake

Steve just stares after him with a fond smile and fills sketchbook after sketchbook with Tony’s ass I mean smile

Bruce and Natasha bake gingerbread cookies and force Clint to help decorate them after they catch him trying to steal the finished batches

every superhero they know are invited to a giant Christmas uhh holiday party (Pep says I have to be more politically correct, Steve.)(Honey, you know she was talking about how you shouldn’t have yelled ‘I like dick’ out the window when we passed that anti-homosexual rally last week.)(O Captain, my Captain, you know I’m never gonna stop doing that. When’s the next rally? I have a rainbow Santa outfit I want to wear.)(It’s next Thursday.)

the Avengers holiday party is the event of the season. the Fantastic Four are there (because Tony finds Susan delightful and he loves to poke Reed); some of the X-Men like to show up and steal all the cookies and eggnog (Tony blames Logan, the man has an empty hole for a stomach); the Guardians show up late with some new alien tech for Tony and Bruce to geek over and maybe some alcohol for Steve, Thor, and Brunnhilde to get drunk on

as the night goes on, Gamora slips next to Brunnhilde. the two whisper in the corner to each other. some years they’re joined by Natasha and Maria and the whole room would be quivering in fear of the four if they weren’t too drunk to notice

by that time, Tony has convinced Steve to come upstairs to their room to ‘unwrap one of his presents early’

(it’s Tony. every year, it’s just Tony. every year, Steve says he’s his favorite present. Tony calls him a sap with the fondest smile on his face.)
