Just found this ad in some local magazine. Image the conversation: – Oh you're a graphic designer, sounds awesome. – To be honest it's mostly about magnifying fleurons and extending stems.

– So you're not from Oslo? – My mum's from Normandy [France] and my dad's from Drammen [tacky city]. – Whoa you must own a lot of fake Louis Vuitton!
Ted (thanks)

1. It’s all bollocks and none of it really matters. Yes really. That stress about the thing that went really wrong, your burning desire to make this your best design ever that in turn makes you miserable, the argument about the late print, graphic design, none of this is what really really matters...

Graduation project: – one system for all brand identities consisting of one letter in a colour from a restrictive palette, and one pictogram assigned according to the business field. – a monospaced strict grid typeface. – flags could also use a bit of standardisation. – a dictator-like podium. – a strict grid selfie on my business card. Imagine a finally honest, efficiently communicating world! No more corporate values bullshit and multiple intentions in logos. No more trend-chasing, looky-feely, handy-drawy, blurry-sunny logo design. No more one OS to determine design trends. And best of all: no more restrictive design manuals, only one to rule them all.
