This is for the mentally ill people who stay mentally ill. The ones that medication doesn’t work for, or who medication only alleviates some of their symptoms, or medication makes your symptoms more managable but only just so, just enough that everything is still hard, that you can see the difference between what you can do and what other people can
this is for the people whose doctor said “this is as good as it’s going to get”
who diligently take their meds every day knowing that this is as healthy as they will ever be and get up and face the world anyway
i am so so proud of you

Advice?
My HSD is so bad right now, it’s been getting worse over the last few weeks but today it reached a really bad peak. All my joints have been stiff and sooo painful - my fingers especially are red and hot and my knee and hip feel so unstable I’ve literally been limping all day. Also my balance has gotten a lot worse and I’ve been tripping up all week (more so than usual). As I’m typing this my back pain is currently keeping me awake. I bought some stronger knee supports and it’s helped a little but I am still struggling. I’m not sure whether this is a flare up because of the cold weather or my joints just getting worse? Any advice or tips for managing these symptoms would be very much appreciated x

🍂Modern Autumn Academia🍂
Cozy evenings watching documentaries on your iPad. Messy hair entangled in headphones. Sipping hot drinks in your favorite coffee shop. Cold air whistling through your coat. Pumpkin scents through your home. Buying spooky books on your tablet. Leaving notes on your computer screen. Playing autumn songs on your phone. Taking pictures of falling leaves. Alarms going off on your phone, telling you it’s time to get up.

Important!
I’ve been gone for a few weeks because I’ve been working on something very special -
This is a website I have made specifically for autistic girls and women! On this website you can become a member (totally free) and use the forums to discuss; coping strategies, tips for difficult situations, your experiences as an autistic girl and you can earn badges as you become a more active member - I also run a blog on the website where I discuss my experiences as an autistic teenager starting at university in the hope it will be something you might be able to relate to or help me with!
My hope is for it to be a safe space free from negativity and judgment where we can just be ourselves :) please reblog and share, I need this to reach as many autistic girls as possible! X
Please sign up to the website - the more people using it, the more support and a better community. Everything is totally free for you, but it cost me a lot of money to set up - so please don’t let it flop ahaha

Stim toys
Hey, I live in England and I’m looking for some stim toys - especially a chewable necklace (I clench my jaw when stressed and it’s really painful) Can anyone recommend a good website that’s on the cheaper side as I need to save money for university? X
