sam winchester’s storyline is so inherently queer-coded (being seen as different and flawed and as an abomination for things he was born with and cannot change) but unfortunately they cast jared padaleki who cannot for the life of him do homoeroticism or even convincing queer subtext in an introspective sense. I can see maybe like transmasc sam in the early seasons but beyond s4 and the ruby stuff jarpad just lost whatever nuance he had in his system. much love
