Welp real life kicked my butt the past few months, but I'm feeling a lot better so now I can finally write and draw some of my ideas :D

I kind of want some of the old 2D zelda bosses to return in botw2 (and more enemy variety in general).

What if Trinexx returned? It has only appeared in alttp, but it has the fire and ice theme, so it could be really cool is Link had to use the elemental weapons and arrows that currently exist in botw. Instead of the non elemental main head of the boss, it could have lightning too. Plus it's a giant hydra/dragon boss and you can't have enough of those.

Another fun idea would be a Blind the Thief style boss, but with Misko the thief from the DLC stuff. I wouldn't necessarily do the exact same set-up with the disguise and sunlight, but something similar could be really interesting. And who knows, Link just might find a cool treasure or a key item that the thief had hidden a long time ago.

I think a lot of smaller enemies from previous games could fit really well into this version of hyrule too, and could be a little more interesting than bokoblins, moblins, and lizalfos everywhere. Gerudo Desert could add geldmen, vultures and leevers. The new sky areas that have been teased could have peahats and aeralfos. Dark caves or dimly lit dungeons could have wallmasters, like-likes (which would be even more dangerous with all the gear Link has to lose), stalfos and stalfos knights, and eyegores.
