i love fish and just now found out about the ashore project AHHH im gonna be thinking about it for probably the rest of this month i love it...

are you open to any sort of questions regarding the world building aspect of it or suggestions? I'd love to pick your brain on this

I would actually love to answer some questions about Ashore Project! I'm terribly slow with worldbuilding, usually having problems with choosing what to focus on between lots of smaller ideas, so I think it could actually help with putting it all together too :'D

Some character ideas, 2 on the left are random ideas that came up while I was sketching, 2 on the right I'm finally (slowly) visualizing after a while.

Only one of them has more going on for now, but in order we got - sopping wet shaking chihuahua (per my friend's description), gay gremlin (Henryk's partner in not-really-crime, and life), old lady that travels with traders' caravan, and coelacanth Ashore scholar (she's tired of everyone's bs).

I need to draw more fictional characters as fish at some point. Choosing fish species and trying to keep some facial features in the design is fun. Although with fish choice I can go three ways, puns, vibes or "oh this character is from x place, time to check what species they have in that area" (and combinations of those three).
