Tangina mo, Ben Tulfo. You're the epitome of a boomer man who normalize rape. Pinatulan si Frankie Pangilinan?? Tangina, gaano ka-liit yung ego mo? Calling her Hija. I hope you rot in hell.

About 7,000,000 children are victims of rape/sexual abuse every year in the Philippines. 70% of this are 10 to 18 years old. 20% are children under 6 years old. In most cases, men between 20 to 40 years old are suspects. We have the Anti-Rape Law of 1997 but this doesn't stop the numbers on rising and the leading type of sexual abuse is rape followed by incest and fondling.
About 98% of rape victims are women.
It is to be noted that this data were gathered from cases that were reported to the authorities. Many victims and families resort to staying silent due to various reasons. Victims may be at a tender age and does not realize that they were sexually abused, they may be afraid for their lives and safety, worry that it will tarnish their reputation, forced to stay silent because the abuser is a relative and is supposed to be taking care of them. If all cases were to be reported, data will show higher figures reflected today.
Most victims adopt the culture of silence and suffer without saying a word because we have let a culture of misogynists, victim-blamers, and slut-shamers have a say for the abuse that they don't get to experience.
Please don't be one with the people who blame the victims. Remember that children as young as 1 year old have been raped. We are raising a generation of rapists and misogynists.

What are your favorite looks from the met gala over the years?
I love the Met Gala more than any other red carpet event. I have so many looks saved but the biggest thing for me is whether or not a guest followed the theme. I think the 2015 China Through the Looking Glass was the first year that I really paid attention to whether or not guests complied with the theme.  And of course Rihanna’s look is probably my all time favorite. Most* of the looks here are from the 2018 Gala because it was the first time I felt the vast majority of guests dressed on theme.
*Blake Lively’s 2018 dress is also one of my favorites, but in order to not repeat something on the same day, I left it out since I posted the look under my favorite dresses with trains.
2014′s Charles James theme was my first introduction to older couture and Arizona Muse’s Ralph & Russo look was timeless and very on theme for the night.

Rihanna in Guo Pei for the 2015 Gala stole the show.

Claire Danes in Zac Posen for the 2016 Manus x Machina theme has remained a favorite over the years due to the theme as well as the modern Cinderella vibes.

The 2018 Heavenly Bodies Gala has five of my favorites. Versace dressed three of my favorites: SZA (the headpiece might even be my favorite part), Zendaya, and Gigi Hadid. Amanda Seyfried looked like a goddess in Prada. And of course, Rihanna in Maison Margiela.

2019′s Camp: Notes on Fashion also had some good ones. I loved Jourdan Dunn’s 3D Zac Posen flower dress But Janelle Monaé’s Christian Siriano look won the night for me.

Everything I’ve done, everything I’ll do today, everything I’ll ever do, I do to protect this world… When I put on this armor, I took on more power than any human was ever intended to have…and maybe more responsibility than my heart can truly bear. But today… I will do my job. I will protect you. No matter what it takes.

During my life, I believed that nothing around me would change. However, during the days when I was being forgotten, the world continued to turn without fail. And with that came many, many changes.
