My white-appearing grandparents had their whole families and everyone they knew genocided for not being white, so now having another group calling Jews white [derogatory], really is emblematic of how antisemitism is a shapeshifter. If Jews are indigenous to the Middle East then why are people so intent on calling them "white"?

People call some Jews “white” not just because of skin color, but because of how some Jews in the West have become part of white culture and power systems. White is not only about race, it’s also about behavior, privilege, and how society treats you.

For example, Ashkenazi Jews (Jews from Europe) who live in the US or Europe sometimes have the same power, safety, and opportunities that white people have. They can walk in the street, go to school or work, and not worry about racism the same way people of color do. That’s why some people call them white.

Also, in Palestine, the Israeli state uses force, military power, and control over people of color, mostly Arabs, which looks a lot like white settler behavior. The police, the army, the checkpoints, the arrests of children — all of that shows a system of control that people associate with whiteness and colonialism.

This doesn’t mean that all Jews are white. Many Jews are Mizrahi, Ethiopian, or from other backgrounds, and they don’t benefit from white privilege. But when people talk about “white Jews,” they often mean Ashkenazi Jews in powerful countries or in powerful roles in Israel.

It’s not about religion or hate. It’s about power, actions, and who is safe and who is not.

We're all collectively fucked because the majority of the people who would normally be fighting against this have instead been busy telling Jews who want self-determination on their indigenous lands that they shouldn't exist and should have no role to play in life on this planet.

Hate is a hell of a drug and nobody is immune to it.

The above images aren't about Gaza, they're about Nazi Germany. The Allies bombed about 500k German civilians to death in World War II in the name of Europe's safety, the world's safety, and yes, even Jewish safety.

Israel does not bomb children. Its targets are not children. Israel bombs Hamas. And Hamas, likes to operate around the children of Gaza? Why? One reason only. To make you angry when Israel bombs Hamas.

As such, any children that die in this war because Hamas operates exclusively out of civilian infrastructure or in tunnels beneath civilian infrastructure (Hamas has significantly more tunnel mileage under Gaza than the NYC subway system), are dead because of Hamas.

Doubly so because Hamas started this war with an act of kidnapping and the worst day of genocide against Jews since the Holocaust both in sheer grotesque brutality and number of Jewish civilians and children slaughtered (by hand, in their homes with Hamas operatives going home to home and gunning down entire families and their pets, and at a music festival, which removes any plausible deniability that said civilians and children were directly targeted as civilian targets).

Why does Hamas gun down and kidnap children and their families? In the name of Palestinian Safety? No. In the name of genociding Jews and those who live peacefully amongst Jews.

Hamas amd Hezbollah does also directly bomb children in the name of genociding Israelis and particuarly Israeli Jews, although their carpetbombing vaguely in the direction of Israeli towns and cities does not discriminate Jew from Muslim from Christian from IDF from baby from a dozen Druze children playing on a soccer field:

When Hamas and some opportunistic Gazan civilians invaded Israel on October 7th, they did have an opportunity to be more targeted than their unguided rockets are capable of, and they chose to do things like kidnap a less than 1 year old INFANT and RETURNED HIS MURDERED-BY-HAND AND FURTHER MANGLED BODY IN A BOX along with A KEY THAT DID NOT UNLOCK THE BOX along with a woman that they said was his mother but, in fact, was the corpse of a random Gazan woman.

(If Hamas LITERALLY using the corpse of a Gazan civilian for psychological torture does not give away that they are also doing the same thing with their wartime civilian body count that they created by the use of human shields in a war they started, then I don't know what else would give away how evil Hamas is towards Gazans and how they view common Gazans as disposable propaganda tools worth more dead than alive).

So why does Palestine have to bomb, kidnap, torture, murder, and desecrate the corpses of infants? Is all that for Palestinian safety? No. It is to genocide Jews and all who live peacefully amongst Jews.

My guy please learn the Jewish definition of the term Zionism before you go on an antisemitic rant about it. Jews are very few in numbers so it is correct that most who identify in some way as Zionist are not Jewish, but it is also true that the vast majority of people who ARE Jewish (>90%) identify as Zionist. You should learn what Zionism is and why Jews almost universally identify as Zionist. To put it into perspective, one study found that 75% of Jews believe in some form of higher power, so there are literally more Zionist Jews than there are Jewish people who believe in some form of God.

It's not "fascinating" to be Jewish in the US right now it's fucking terrifying.
