MASTER POST
Let’s Go Gamers!!: After receiving powers in their senior year of high school, the three try to hide their identities while living a normal college life. Which, as one may expect, is very short-lived.

“LET GO!”
Michael had once again gained access to the knives, and rather than the usual disarming by Pione, Michael found himself effectively trapped in a hug.
Pione didn’t respond, ignoring the threats spilling out of Michael’s mouth as he kept his arms pinned at his sides. The young man tried to worm his way out, but when that didn’t work he resorted back to scare tactics.
“I’ll kill you! I’ll gut you like a fish and hang your intensities outside of your bedroom. I’ll gouge your eyes out and push you out of a skyscraper window. I’ll-“
Michael suddenly found his face pressed into Pione’s chest, cutting off the rest of the creative threats bubbling in his brain. Despite how restrictive the hold was, Pione’s actions didn’t seem aggressive. He was stern, but gentle.
“My grandpa used to do this for me when I was scared. I don’t know why, but it always made me feel better, being so close to him.”
Michael knew what he was talking about. Though he had only gotten this treatment once, he never forgot how secure he had felt, despite the craziness of everything around him. Back when he had seen Silas as a friend.
As the two sat in silence, the muffled curses coming from Michael’s mouth eventually died down, and Pione felt the slight tremors running through his body as he broke down. He didn’t say anything.

First Meetings (AKA: a snippet of a scene that I really liked)
I’m your new narrator. Lucky for you I guess. I’m not going to get all hung up on details, so you’re just going to have to suck it up and enjoy the ride.
Here’s the gist.
Drew goes exploring by herself because she’s an idiot and because she’s stewing in her guilt over getting Trey captured by the bird people. Honestly, I don’t think it’s really her fault (what do you expect, she’s new at this) but guilt has a funny way of taking root in someone’s mind and never easing up. So, she wanders off all “oh woe is me” and stumbles upon this really dope-looking area. And she explores it hoping to score a huge find for the group, kind of like an apology gift. And then she finds this huge looking statue, and she thinks that’s pretty dope, so she climbs up to it, and touches it.
And then its eyes open.
There’s an oh crap moment, and the being wakes up, trying to take in its surroundings, and in turn, spots her, which is what happens below!:
“I’ve never seen your kind before.”
His hand reached out and Drew immediately skittered backward, nearly tripping herself in the process. He paused, and an amused smile came upon his face.
“Skittish, are we? No need to worry, little one,” He continued to extend his hand forward, hesitantly now, as if he himself were nervous. “I won’t hurt you.”
Drew stiffened, and she felt like she couldn’t breathe, like she couldn’t move. It’s hands came around her, and ever so gently picked her up.
“Now, what exactly are you?” He leaned in close, and it took everything for Drew not to scramble backward. “You look like an Avian, but your wings...they haven’t come in yet...they should be in by now.”
Drew gulped, and stuttered out. “You’re...y-you’re giant...”
He paused, blinked, and then chuckled. “Well yes, I suppose I am. Though, I assume that comes with the territory.”
“What….what are you?”
He blinked again. “Have I been asleep so long that they no longer teach the new generation about our kind?”
“Well, I just got here, so I wouldn’t necessarily blame them.” Her hands strayed to the back of her neck, gripping it tightly as she let out a nervous laugh. “I’m just new to everything.”
“New?”
Drew nodded, her mouth moving on its own. “I-I just got here. Like, a couple days ago? I woke up under an oversized flower. So, I’m not used to the rules or anything.”
He seemed confused, what she assumed was his eyebrow grating downward. “Hm...interesting. Well, little one, I suppose I’ll have to inform you-”
“Drew.”
“...what?”
“Sorry, it’s just...it’s just you kept saying little one, and I assumed it was because you didn’t know my name. Drew. That’s my name.”
A pause.
“W-Well It’s Drew Michaels, not just Drew, but I assume that you, that you, uh, didn’t actually need to know all of that. But um, yeah…I’ll shut up now.”
He stared at her, and the silence that fell between them seemed to stretch on forever. Now that she thought about it, interrupting the giant stone man was probably a bad move on her part. She’d have to keep that in mind if she survived this.
The silence was broken by a crumbling noise, that grew to the sound of an avalanche as the man broke into boisterous laughter. She chuckled awkwardly, flinching at the sound, but trying to remain polite.
“You certainly are an interesting one, aren’t you Drew?”
“Ah, thank you?”
“Of course. Now, as I was saying.”
