It’s stupid, but somehow, I want to delude myself into thinking that I can ignore the fact that Rhysand is back in Velaris. Because if I can ignore it all, then I can continue with my life, without acknowledging the fact that it feels like my entire world has been shaken, stirred, and turned inside out.

In my silence, I can feel Azriel’s focus on me. I shift my gaze from my near-empty plate to meet his eyes.

When Natasha died, even though they didn't have her body, did they try to hold a ceremony or vigil in her honor? No, they just threw a bench over a lake

This is one of the reasons Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will always be better to me, because they were a family. They genuinely cared about one another and wanted the best for each other

When Daisy went rogue, Coulson spent months searching for her. Not because "Quake" was a vigilante, because he wanted her to be safe. Because he knew she would heal better with them

When Fitz was locked up by the US military, Hunter came to his aid. They escaped and when it turned out they needed to go back, he didn't protest, because he knew Fitz would eventually succeed. Because he knew that he needed the pod to save the others

When Daisy was let go from Hive's sway and she had so much self-loathing, Mack was by her side. He held her and hugged her and assured her that everything was okay, that she was a good person, even as she was trying to hit him. And when she ended up collapsing and crying in his arms, he stayed with her

The Avengers are fine. Okay, they're. Fine. But they're nowhere near being a family like the S.H.I.E.L.D. team is

It makes me so sad that people who have watched Shadow and Bone for The Crows but didnt read the books have no idea who Colm is and will never meet him. The most moderately okay father figure ever, who found out his son was invested in organized crime, yelled at him a bit, then immediately started helping with the crime and essentially took it upon himself to adopt the rest of his son's criminal friends

it is so dumb that in hoo the narrative blames percy for not double checking that the gods freed calypso. first of all it is not his fault that they broke their promise. second of all he was abducted less than four months after they made the promise, then he was in a coma, then he woke up with amnesia, then he had to fight in a new war. he was BUSY

i just wish we could've seen more of feyre actually showing off her powers in battle

i love the line in acosf “feyre cursebreaker would not forgive me for killing her sister” because it proves a lot of feyre haters wrong in one simple line.

1) “she’s not powerful” really??? explain why everyone’s scared of her over cassian AND rhys (both who also have reasons to protect nesta)

2) “she doesn’t really care about nesta/ her sisters” again, really?? even the illyrians know that she would protect them, damn the consequences

ive already decided that unless there's another feysand book, im done with sjm forever. but i will be sipping my tea and watching the chaos unfold.

It’s going to be crazy when acotar 5 details comes out. Literally unhinged. The way people will switch their opinions, stans calling each other out for dismissing their theories and predictions, the rants and essays, the “I’m not continuing the series anymore” tantrums. It doesn’t matter which couple it’s about, it’ll be chaos.
