𝚕𝚘𝚢𝚊𝚕 𝚔𝚗𝚒𝚐𝚑𝚝.     muse a is the one wearing the crown. they’re leading a nation and a lot is expected from them. with the crown comes great danger and that’s where muse b comes in, their noble knight in shining armor. they spend countless of moments together while out on adventurous and the lines begin to blur. soon enough muse b finds themselves not being able to hold back, not caring they aren’t a royal themselves. they make a move after an intense battle. 

𝚒𝚗𝚗𝚎𝚛 𝚌𝚒𝚛𝚌𝚕𝚎.     muse a is the prince/princess/lord/lady of the kingdom. a lot of expectations are put onto them. muse b is a part of their royal court and one of the only ones that they can truly trust. soon enough this budding friendship turns into something more. they tell each other everything and because of that, there’s no stopping them from spending nights together either. 

𝚖𝚊𝚛𝚛𝚒𝚊𝚐𝚎 𝚘𝚏 𝚗𝚊𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗𝚜.     muse a and muse b are both royals from warring kingdoms. in order to bring peace onto both lands, an agreement is signed to marry both of them off to each other. they either agree or don’t do the union, but it’s something that they can’t fight. at first it’s just out of duty. there’s no love and that’s not important, love isn’t needed for power. will they fall in love down the line or will it just be political? 

𝚖𝚊𝚐𝚒𝚌 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚜𝚠𝚘𝚛𝚍.     muse a is a cocky and confident ruler/royal/noble. they think that by brute force alone they can rule the kingdom and lead with an iron fist. muse b has been protecting them behind the scenes, a mage using magic to ensure success. eventually they reveal what they’ve been doing and the two become an unstoppable duo. 

𝚊𝚌𝚛𝚘𝚜𝚜 𝚌𝚕𝚊𝚜𝚜𝚎𝚜.     muse a is a royal and muse b is a commoner (servant, cook, w.hore in a brothel, etc). the two aren’t supposed to have nothing in common. yet when they find themselves alone after an attack they seem to bond. they have to sneak around behind everyone’s back. surely if they’re caught they’ll be separated. 

𝚊𝚏𝚏𝚊𝚒𝚛𝚜 𝚠𝚒𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚗 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚌𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚕𝚎.     muse a is one of the rulers of the kingdom, sitting on the throne in their perfect marriage. muse b is anyone else within the castle (worker, other noble, muse a’s rightful heir, etc) so the two have to interact every now and then. soon enough muse a realizes they’re attracted to muse b. will they risk it all for them or will they stick to their duty? 

𝚖𝚎𝚗𝚊𝚐𝚎 𝚊 𝚝𝚛𝚘𝚒𝚜.     muse a and muse b have been together for a long time in secret. muse a has been recently married off to muse c for political reasons (royals marrying each other for an alliance, more power, to stop a war, etc). instead of ending one relationship for another, muse a brings muse b and muse c together one night to explain the situation. they don’t want to pick, so the three will have to work something out.

love at first sight ━ let's be real, only children believe in "love at first sight." but you're a hopeless romantic probably sitting around in coffee shops waiting to meet "the one." and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. infatuation at first sight is more accurate. you are the moment when two people lock eyes, and the whole world stills. nothing is there but you and them. and there is suddenly a strong sense of longing. you love love, don't deny it. flowers, chocolates, the whole nine yards. because of this you are loved by many. hopefully you know it too: you are loved.

flightless bird ━━ the thought of your found family is what motivates you in your own little world. you touch the clouds, and the soil gives way under your footprints... this is utopia. if you were to erase one thing, it would be your memory. experience is important, but ignorance is bliss. identity, in heaven, should give way to happiness. you'd give anything just to sit by the swings and eat ice cream, but this isn't that kind of world. you have to get up and wash the dirt off of your scraped knees. i think you have an escapism problem.

" i'm enjoying it because it's funny! " she said with a laugh, noticing his grin on his face. " or maybe it's because just before you, i was the new kid ― it's nice to see the new kid on top. " kimberly mused, shrugging her shoulders. she had only been at angel grove a few weeks before becoming the pink ranger, and it was only a few weeks after that tommy had been given his power coin by rita. " i certainly wasn't when my first few weeks. "

even though she had called it a date first, her cheeks flushed when he referred to it as their first date. " old school, i like it. " the pink ranger said with a smile, " there's a really great burger joint down past the movie theater, how's that? " first dates were supposed to be casual, right? somehow, this didn't feel as casual as other first dates kimberly had been on. perhaps it was because they were different ― they fought aliens together, a first date seemed so . . . normal.

"Jason can tell girls whatever he wants- I mean, I'm sure he'd do the same for me if the roles were reversed." Tommy shrugged. The people who were actually there knew what had happened, and besides, the two of them had become good friends. "You are enjoying that way too much." But the young man couldn't keep the grin off his face as he turned his gaze back towards her.

"Well, I haven't really gotten to sightsee much, so I don't know a lot of the stuff there is to do around here," he confessed with a shrug. "How about for our first date, we just keep it kind of simple? Old school- like... a movie and dinner somewhere?"

a boy like him ― it didn't terrify kimberly the same, but there was something about having a girl that felt right to her. her cheeks flushed as he assured her having a mini her would be just as good. " i sure hope so! i was a handful as a child. " she jested with a giggle, squeezing his arm as she leaned into him while they walked to his palace. it was comforting, to talk so casually about the situation with him. as if it wasn't something to immediately panic about ― though, deep down, kimberly knew it still was. they weren't prepared in the slightest. she wasn't.

" oh, i'm sure i will, but i'll be glad most days that they're just like you, " she could see it now, their daughter breaking a lamp from practicing karate in the house. it would drive her crazy, but she knew she'd love it all the same. it felt like a slight relief to kimberly, that he assured it was her choice if they had more then one child. she felt her cheeks grow darker at the idea of having more children with him, at having their own family ― suddenly, her life was on a path she hadn't expected; yet, her heart was beginning to feel excitement over it.

" from one only child to another, " kimberly started, " i can agree, think they need at least one sibling! being an only child wasn't always the best. " she mused. the pink ranger felt the same as him, being an only child was lonely. even if she had friends, at the end of the day, it was only her at home. she had a little brother now that her mother was remarried, but she could hardly count him ― kimberly was grown, no longer in need of a sibling to grow up with.

when they reached the steps leading up to his place, kimberly hopped forward a couple ― stopping before he could follow her, and turning to face him; now elevated to be just slightly taller then him. the ranger leaned in, capturing his lips in a soft, lingering kiss. " thank you, tommy. "

"A boy just like me terrifies me. And I don't know, I like having one of you around; a second one just seems like more of a good thing." God it sounds cheesy, but with a moment like this? A little (a lot) of cheese didn't seem like such a bad thing.

Tommy just wanted her to know he was here.

"If those walls do start staring back, let me know. Rita might be trying to drive you crazy." Tommy added, turning his attention to her even as he moved as close as he could without tripping them both up, he liked the feeling of her on his arm, "You say that now. But just wait, you're going to be cursing that they're just like me."

They both wanted a girl; it seemed like the rest was up to... however, that was decided. Maybe he should have paid attention during class. "Well, that's up to you," he said, "I mean, I don't want to force anything, but I think being an only child is kinda lonely. I wouldn't mind giving our kid a sibling or two." His lips twitched with the urge to smirk as he turned his full attention back to her. "What do you think?"
