When you do worldbuilding, is it planned out and super connected with drawn out maps and everything, or more vague? Does it differ from how you do oc-building?

I do whatever I think my world needs. I've tried mapping, but it doesn't really work for me. So I SORTA map things out. The mountains are to the west, the Town is west yadda yadda. In one story all I really did was go "Most of the world is dense forest so here is the part that is urbanized." it just depends on what you need.

Which show or characters have the blandest designs for you?

Peppa Pig. It is the UGLIEST animation style I have ever seen in my life. I don't care if it's supposed to be child like, it is lazy and ugly.

Did you know the grass in the original shrek movie is not grass? Its hair. they used hair textures for the grass bc the actual grass for some reason in their computer modelling programs would not behave like grass so they used hair textures colored green.

That sounds absolutely like something Shrek would do. I love that so much.

They’re equally challenging for different reasons.

You gotta make up your own stuff for the original.

But you gotta imitate the style that is not yours.
