While this movie is about a man who chooses to exploit a twisted system selling celebrity illnesses, I have another story in mind for the edit. Protagonist's woman becomes well known through talent and effort. Fame brings a bit of the good things it usually does -- resources, connections. What changed is that in this universe fame it also has a physical aspect which materialises as an illness within those affected.
