Oh, uh, I do, actually!

It's just that I consume a lot more energy than your average monster around here! And I consume it quickly, so to speak.

So I usually get that energy either eating a fuckton of food, or just getting a fuckton of caffeine for a quick fix of both energy and attitude.

That's why I ordered five cups of espresso back at QC's all those months ago! To keep my energy levels in check!

But I still try to sleep after every day of work, no worries!

I sorta... chickened out at the last minute. I didn't erase the chalk, but the package wasn't sent as far as I know, so nothing came to fruition out of that.

So I ran my way out of the alley. I think.

Now that portal... it's all I've been thinking about all this time.

I’ll try to explain.

I practice a kind of magic called Chalk Magic, which is mostly used to create a bunch of portals or passages that bring things from one place to another. Kinda like teleporting, but not exactly that.

It’s sorta straightforward too; most of the time it’s just drawing door shapes on both start and end points to make the passage.

But right now, we’re not doing that. There’s a kind of Chalk Magic portal called a Personal Portal that leads the passage towards your target person by drawing a special design around the main shape. That means every person has their own Personal Portal with their own design.

This sounds weird now that I think about it.

Anyway, that’s how we’re gonna deliver the package! ^w^👍

All we have to do is draw the portal…

Question about your friend. What's your definition of death

Death, you say?

It’s… basically a loss of sorts.

Death can be the loss of something connected to a person’s lifespan, like their SOUL from their body, the memories they made with others, and the things other people remember about said person.

But at the same time, it can also mean something like… transcendence.

When a body dies, it wouldn’t be able to contain a SOUL anymore, so that SOUL would have to transfer itself from this world to a world beyond what reality holds for us to settle down.

If someone loses their memories, everyone may mourn & grieve as if they’ve lost the person themselves… but what if they still have the same personality? The people would beg to give the person’s memories back, trying to remind the person about them. This means that those memories lived on, settling in the people’s minds.

And if the person has truly lost who they were… I think the people would slowly give up on trying, and gradually start to forget about who the person was before. Being forgotten is why I‘m scared of Death; I don’t want my existence to be erased from the face of the Earth.

I don’t want theirs to be erased, either. They don’t deserve it. Not after all that they’ve done for this town.
