💙🦴 — So I wrote in a fanfic about Dog Man's name sign for Petey and thought about coming up with name sign for more of his friends/family.

Rant/Explanation:

Petey/Lil Petey: I like to think DM kept the name sign simple for Lil Petey to easily learn, so that's why their names are just letters. I kept this in mind when coming up with the rest of everyone's name sign. I seem some fanfic using "orange" to refer to Petey and I like that, too <3

80-HD: I couldn't really think of anything unique, but since "80-HD" is already a nickname, I think spelling it out wasn't a bad idea.

Molly: Honestly, I also really couldn't think of anything I liked to serve as Molly's name sign. While doing a little bit of research, I saw that commonly people's name for children would be just their initial over the heart. Usually, it's to describe them as being nice and/or brave. I thought it would be cute for DM to do the same for Molly. Plus, it's simple for LP to remember. I was thinking of combining the sign for "silly" and "M" but eh.

Chief/Nurse Lady: These were very straightforward. Although, I was having trouble looking for the sign for "chief/boss" since there's a few versions. Just pick whatever.

Sarah: OH MY GOD WHEN I SEARCHED WHAT MICROPHONE WAS, IT WAS PERFECT! The sign for "S" transitions smoothly to "microphone". I'm very happy with my name sign for Sarah.

Yolay: Once more in my small research, I saw that many times people would use a letter and combine it with an action, description, or characteristic type of word. So I took the sign for "wavy" referring to Yolay's hair with the sign for "Y". I also like my sign for Yolay <3
