the best part about wicked is how different the book and the musical/movie are. like yes we have galinda and elphaba. but. on one hand you've got the musical which is about two lesbians and a very confused himbo in a love triangle and one of the lesbians and the himbo run off together. and then you've got the book which straight up hurls nazis and stds and affairs and killing children and the gestapo at ya. I mean. elphaba literally smashes in madame morrible's head because she's so Damn Hungover and Angry. preach
