the season one remaster is so fucked up for changing the dora doll's dialogue to be personalized to each contestant it's given to. before it released, knife believing that dora was "his only true friend" and that nobody else understood him was played as a Haha Funny Joke, but then the remaster hit us with "knife, i need you" and you realize. oh geez. for a long time, that doll really was his only friend. he's only existed for a few months and he's already made everyone hate him, when we know from his interactions with paper and nickel that he does want to have friends, but his violent tendencies end up scaring everyone away. that doll was the first person who ever expressed a real desire to be around him. even if it was just a crusty pre-recorded voice line from a shitty bootleg stuffed toy, that very well might have been the first time he ever felt wanted.

and suddenly the Haha Funny Joke has turned into another moment for the Knife Has Every Mental Illness Ever compilation. out of all of the jokes that have been recontextualized into something more meaningful as the show's gone on, i was NOT expecting "haha knife's only friend is a dora doll" to be one of them.

Discord has implemented the age verification requirement system per the upcoming law going into affect later this week early, so prepare yourself for other sites, which may include Tumblr given the intent is to target adult content which may affect here because of how it still does get posted here, even if the intended targets are the actual site for it.

As of writing, the official petition to have the Online Safety Act repealed is close to 30,000 signatures, but it's barely enough to garner much attention to where it may be dismissed by Parliament, or may get discussed but not getting to where it'll be repealed to actually figure a system that doesn't carry the risk of private information getting leaked.

BUT! i have a huuge itch that jack is going to be an antagonist, or at least a mean/rude character. something about him makes him stick out from the others.. I do actually like jack a lot hes probably my second favorite ii character right now (i also think he maay have something to do with trophy..)
