I feel like it would be funnier to have him not surprised about being hugged even though he hasn’t been hugged in a long time, rather that he’s shocked because the asks now have a physical form and chose to hug him (also because it’s a strange, featureless, eyeless, noseless, gray, cartoonish, humanoid-thing). thinking about how fucking large i have made scott to be. he's not just stupid tall but he is also stupid wide. he kind of has to squeeze to fit through the doorframe. he can't really fit in his little shower. constantly bringing his clothes to the tailor to have them altered to fit him right. has to be 10x more aware of literally everything all the time because he forgets how fucking huge he is. he's so big and so stupid

say Vincent did achieve his goal with Scott, what would happen then? Would he become so obsessive that he isolates him? Would he lose interest once he gets what he wants?

even if vincent somehow managed to get scott, thats only the first half of it. something i have a lot of fun with in vincents dynamics is the idea of the mask that vincent wears vs the real vincent beneath it, and how just about all of the his relationships are with the mask on, which makes them feel hollow to him. in a situation where vincent had gotten scott to be in some sort of relationship with him, he would ultimately need to take off the mask to see if scott could care about the real him so that their relationship could be fulfilling, but unfortunately scott is ultimately a compassionate guy and definitely would not be able to handle the idea that vincent is a serial killer, even if at that point (i imagine this would be in vincents mid 20s) he has not become as prolific as he would later become. and obviously vincent cant really do much in the face of rejection when it comes to that kind of knowledge but kill him sooooooo. yeah
