I am so incredibly excited to be posting my fic for @noragamibigbang​ !!!! You can read it here on AO3. The first half is up now and the second half will be posted before Saturday.

Title: moonfire

Summary: Iki Hiyori discovers a guy passed out on her twelfth-story balcony one morning, and her life just gets stranger from there. AU, Yatori.

I had so much fun working on this piece; it’s my baby. It’s my first time writing anything this long (novella-length) and I’m super excited to share it with everyone! Summary: On her 20th birthday, Hiyori makes a wish to be with Yato and Yukine forever, even knowing that remaining tethered to the world of gods and shinki will shorten her mortal life. But forever isn't as impossible as it seems, and a special reward awaits she who grants the wishes of the gods.

I am kicking off the Noragami Big Bang with a.. bang

It was an absolute delight to be paired up with @jaystrifes, please PLEASE go read their fic and I hope y’all enjoy the rest of the creations. Thank you @noragamibigbang for organizing so efficiently!

Fic: she who grants the wishes of the gods, one I’ve been working on for almost a year, now finally coming to fruition after I challenged myself to join @noragamibigbang! I’m so glad I did, bc I got to collab with the wonderful @flandraws who made an absolutely gorgeous piece of artwork for this. Also shoutout to Syd for betaing!

The fic will be posted tomorrow (June 29) in full, but here’s a preview until then:

There are no storms, and Hiyori gets the feeling that Yato and Yukine did some extra work cleaning up the riff-raff to guarantee a peaceful night. She bounces her way across the city until the powerlines end, beyond the train tracks, where she hops down and lands in the grass, light as a cat. Breaking into a sprint, she crosses the small field and follows the path up through the trees as the last light of day fades away and the streaks of orange in the sky give way to a deepening purple hue.

Yato and Yukine meet her before she reaches the torii of their shrine, and Hiyori stops short to smooth the folds of her clothes and tuck her hair behind her ear, beaming at them.

“Well?” she asks, after a beat of quietly enjoying the sheer warmth in their eyes, the adoration so clearly written on their faces. 

“Happy birthday!” they say in unison, both of them grinning hugely. 

They nearly bowl her over with the strength of their hug. She laughs and breathes in the familiar scent of them, the endearingly ordinary nectarine of shampoo in Yukine’s hair, and the unearthly hint of snowy night that cloaks Yato. It shouldn’t carry an odor of its own but does anyways; it should seem out of place in the summer but doesn’t. It’s the scent of home, the one that always helps her find her way.
