Hell's Paradise

I just finished watching Hell's Paradise (the 13 episodes of season 1, bcs I heard that there will be season 2 which I'm really excited about) today. Now, first and foremost i want to express how much I love this series and the characters in it.

I think this series deserves a 10 out of 10 I don't care what other people think or say. I LOVE IT SO MUCH.

The setting, the island, the worldbuilding, the characters, and just everything u know? Like the weird mixture between fantasy and reality. I just love that so much. Another thing that absolutely makes me like it is because there is somehow an element of artificiality(?) in that world. It's kinda like uncanny valley. Even before we meet all the weird ass creatures and monsters and whatnot, the island itself, despite being so beautiful, feels kind of fake. It doesn't have that beauty that nature has. It's like so full of what makes nature beautiful, but it's kinda like when you throw and mesh all of them together that it just feels fake, and also kinda eerie (it feels like it's begging you to see it as a haven you know?) And I love that.

I also like the philosophy? ideology? idk what to call it, but the one of the main idea in this series about balance. About how it is as important to be weak as it is to be strong. How you can't only just be strong, but also have to embrace your weakness and how both of them are a part of you as a whole. I also like the idea that embracing your weakness is a strength in itself.

And last but definitely not least, I love the characters pleaaaseeeeeeeee..... I love Sagiri, I love Gabimaru, I love Choubei n his brother, Shion, Fuchi, Yuzuriha, Yui, all of themmmmmmmm!!! But especially Gabimaru. He is just so precious I can't. Him and his wife both are just adorable. But I also absolutely adores Choubei. He's kinda a prick at first, but I'm just weak for people that cares so deeply about someone else and would do anything for them you know.... I think that he is actually a really warm and soft person and I'm kinda sad because I don't think he is the type of character that is going to survive at the end 😔😔😔😔

Anyways, this is a really good series, amazing story, amazing animation, I absolutely recommend to give this a watch!!

If you told me five or six years ago that Rick and Morty would become one of the gayest mainstream TV shows and force toxic fans to tiptoe around their bigotry while Harry Potter would become a homophobic, transphobic shitshow that indulges some of the worst people on the Internet, I would not have believed you. I'm watching how I met your mother again, and Ted Mosby is a fucking aashole. I hate him with all my guts.

The way he lies to get the girls he likes, how he doesn't care about other people and takes advantage of them just to get the girl. Like when:

-He almost destroyed Claudia's wedding because he wanted to bring Robin with him. He claimed he had cross the 'I'm coming with someone to the wedding' when in reality he didn't.

-when he lied to Robin about having broken up with Victoria, because he had JUST figured out that Robin had feelings for him.

-when he asked out dr Sarah and she said no but he was so adamant on dating her that he didn't care about her negative, he kept insisting.

-when he broke up with natalie, TWICE, on her birthday. The second time he was a total fucking asshole, he called her because he 'missed' her, but ended up breaking her heart again.

-And Victoria, poor Victoria. Everything bad about him breaking her heart again and again.

-when he invited merybeth to their new year's party on the limo, but only to not pay attention to her at all, because he was only focusing on Robin.

And I'm only on season 1. Ted Mosby is the worst man a woman could ever date. Selfish, self centered, doesn't take a no for an answer, believes he is awesome when he gets a yes after doing everything in his power to get that yes.... TED MOSBY IS A DICK

Ted mosby is a piece of shit

i have been rewatching HIMYM and honest to satan!!!! Ted is a piece of shit. And i'm only at season 6! What were the writers thinking when they were Developing ted-evelyn-mosby's character? He is such a piece of shitty shit. He thinks with his dick! And admittedly Barney uses his brain for important things, like saying the truth when it counts or thinking hard about what he should do. He hates marriage and yet he had more sense than ted on this matter. He knew and planned for it. Ted only whines about how shit doesn't go his way and how the fucking universe isn't helping him get what he wants. Crrrrrrrist! Everything that happened to him are things he brought to himself. There was no external being manioulating his life, even though the writers tried to make it seem so. He should have died instead of his wife. Let her wife tell the story to their kids and robin should have ended up with barney. Baeney was the only one who actually understood Robin, when it counted. Why would the writers have them split up? Just because of robins career? Did nothing ever resolve this? Barney couldn't do his own thing? Because he was flying around the fucking world with his wife? FUCKING WEAK!!!!!

Just needed to get this off my chest, and prolly be posting more as I have time to watch this series anyway.

thinkin bout how sweet amy is in relationships, she was so cute with fry and shes so patient with kif…. i love her sm. i mean shes even playfully rude with leela but theyve shown that they are rly friends and i always think of that episode where she was trying to help leela find a bf at the hip joint, like she RLY tried lol. shes so sweet and smart and just a great character i rly have a soft spot for her :’)
